Daron's birthday was only just around the corner too, going by his profile page. He was only a few years older than me - way too young to go.

I only assumed he was an older fella. Just a few years older than most of us here :(

I wish his family the best.

Man, too much death this year. I really loathe it. Poor guy, and feel for his wife and family. Stay strong guys! It isn't easy, but think of the great times you had with him.

*hugs sent*

Edit: Actually tearing up from this. I been here far too many times this year. I know how hard it must be for her and their family.

As some in this thread have said, I didn't know DGT very well, but his presence was very well known on this board. It's never easy reading posts like these. I can't imagine how difficult this time is for you, FC. We're all here for you when you need us. And thank you for taking the time to think of us and post this, even though it must have been extremely difficult.

You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Well said bud. Well said. :1-1:

My heart and thoughts go out to you. Rest in peace Woodward. and if the family needs anything, anyone and everyone here will be happy to help.

I'm very sorry for your loss. He was always very active in the Doctor Who discussions here so I saw him around quite a bit. Always very friendly and something interesting to say.

My thoughts to you and you family.

Oh my goodness. I've just seen this news and can hardly believe it. I am so, so sorry to hear it. I only knew Daron through the BC threads but I really clicked with him in the threads. All my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I don't know what else to say. I can only hope that you and your son receive some kind of solace from the knowledge that Daron was much loved, even by people who knew him only a little.

RIP DGT. I didn't know you well, but it's pretty much a fact that you were a gem in our community from what others have posted. My condolences to you and your family, fatcateatsalot. :(

Oh man. We didn't interact all that much, but I do remember him from a little discussion we had about the HT ASM. I've been very vocal about that figure and he had it. But, unlike many others, he was very polite and never insulted or any of the sort. I now feel very bad about those back and forth messages we exchanged, and if there was a time machine available, I would've just kept to myself. Without even knowing him personally, I somehow feel that I did a little. After all, he's one of us.

My deepest condolences to you and your family in these hard times.

A really crappy reminder of whats really important in life, my heart goes out to his family.

RIP my friend and fellow collector, my condolences to the family and friends that DGT had. Its never easy and far too young.

It's always a shocker and a reminder that life is too short, with anyone's life... always go at it 100%+ and with passion, which I believe DGT had.

He will be sorely missed and my love/compassion goes to his family.

Just seen this thread. Man, this was quite a shock. I didn't have a lot of personal correspondence with him but I always enjoyed his posts and as others have said, he was a great presence and always seemed like a good guy with a positive attitude. I'll miss reading his posts.

My deepest sympathies to his family. A sad loss to the community he enjoyed.
