I gotta give it to Kirshner. :chew

I remember when Kirshner's name was brought up as a possible director on one of the PT (I think it was AOTC). That would have been something to see. I dare to bet that it would have been much better than what was made.

Three major things that factored into ESB being so good:

3) Gary Kurtz was still the Producer. If GL came up with a crappy idea - Kurtz would tell him it was a bad idea - not kiss his @ss like Rick McCallum.

True. Gary Kurtz doesn't get the appreciation he deserves for helping to focus a vision.
