Sandtroopers and dewbacks

I just used acrylics i didnt do a gloss finish, but mine has a slight shine to it anyway. I just gave him a wash then several coats of watered down acrylic, then a bit of drybrushing, then done any detailing and called it done. If he gets handled alot a minimal gloss would the best bet.

TY, CB. Just wanted to get a feel of what would look best. I can always go over him with a semi gloss clear coat after the fact.

I usually use a matte clear coat on stuff like this... seems to help smooth out the look of the paint, and while its not glossy... does give it just a bit of a sheen. But I would suggests using a gloss clear coat for the eyes, and maybe on the mouth and nails.

Just need a saddle, rolled up tarp and a rope to add to it and I should get the effect I want. What did you use, Bob, for the little rolled up tarp bit?

Right here is the latest members of the Snow-Sandtrooper Squad.

Ayfive was assigned to the stormtrooper squads searching for R2-D2 and C-3PO on Tatooine. and the center trooper may look familiar! He was part of the Bantha Poodo Squad of yautja. He has just been re-asigned to The Snow Squad and travelled many miles across a mighty ocean in a collerian frieghter, he only arriver today.....

Still have not finished R2-A5. But this is him with the Squad.
