Yea, was hearing this on the radio all the way to my grandparents house. The little girl just happened to open the door and got shot, but at least she'll survive. They were pulling people out of the fire they think the guy set all last night. Poor people, that's so sad

When I hear about people like this, it makes me sick and then angry.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all children who are harmed, abused and murdered.
I can't find any humour in this either so stop with the jokes

This is why I refuse to watch the news anymore. I only watch the weather and sports(and god knows that there's enough murder, shootings, kidnapping, stabbings and what have you in sports alone), the rest I could care less. It seems that it's all bad news all the time.

Then you and I are alike, the last time i've watched the news was probably like 5-6 years ago, everything I "hear" is from family and friends. I just plain hate all of t.v.

But keep in mind the ONLY thing the news will cover is negative garbage, you never hear anything tastefull anymore. Or hell, never did for that matter.

If you believe in God then you should know he's already there.

Yes, I do. Very strongly.

It was just my way of expressing the anger and disgust I had reading the story.

And, I agree on the news. I always said The One-Hour news, is: 50 Minutes of bad stuff, 5 minutes of sports, 4 minutes of weather, and the last minute (as the credits are scrolling) is one feel good story.

(Obviously throw in your commercials in between).....

Wouldnt be surprise if some members from this very board would do the same thing one day.

''Authorities say Pardo's Santa suit actually melted onto his body before he fled''

^^^^.

The end is near.

Things like this have happened since the dawn of time, you just hear about it alot more with the global media we have now. Same with floods, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes. It's not that they're happening more, you just hear about every one that happens now.

So that people can say that the end is near, and justify their belief that humanity is some kind of cosmic cancer.

Fact is, there are people out there who are weak, and in a society that coddles pain, more and more people feel that they have some kind of excuse to succumb to their weaknesses. They condemn the rest of the world as selfish because they don't get their way and using the martyrdom of the selfless as justification to punish the wicked, get themselves off the hook long enough to follow through on these sub-human acts.

To hell with this bastard's pain. He doesn't even deserve a proper burial. Dump his body in the California desert for the scavengers and make a point of pissing on it before you go.

Terrible news indeed, but honestly, I'm sick and tired of hearing people say "the world is getting worse", "the end is near" etc etc. Truly terrible stuff has happened in the past, time and time again, and people shouldn't look at the past with rose-coloured glasses. It's a sad fact that almost unspeakable human suffering is an ongoing part of human existence. Even if it doesn't affect you or I directly, it happens.
