Sauron Bigger Than a Troll?

I just got his HELM thanks to TOM! and its bigger that the Troll one! is he really bigger than Trolls?

If you made Sauron in 1:6 scale he would roughly 21 inches tall.. I think a Troll would be about 18 inches... right?

In the movie the Cave Troll seemed way bigger then 8 feet tall.

I would think that a troll standing upright would be taller (for the most part they are always hunched) than Sauron (who I think was supposed to be 10" in the movie)

So what your saying is that the Sauron statue is 1/6? are close to it?

The trolls in the film were larger because for the most part they were battle trolls, which were bred to be larger than the smaller trolls in the Hobbit. That sketch seems about right, though the dwarves would be a little taller and the hobbits a tad taller; Tolkien specifically states that the height difference between the two is minimal. Also, it would be "Sindarin" elf, not "Sinda," although the term Noldo is correctly modified. It's still quite a good sketch.

I thought that Sauron was 14 feet tall? Maybe I'm confused, and all my LOTR books are packed up at the moment (the film-reference ones)

Sideshow does need to make Sauron and a Cave Troll in the 1:6 action figure line though.
