Hi guys! Sacramento con was totally fun. OMG took 3 hours to get into makeup. But it was worth it...because I just love to get my ape on!! And how ridiculous is this? I got to be Norman Reedus's new girlfriend....and I was his assistant because I had to hold down the memorabilia/photos people were having him sign so he could keep his hand on my left shoulder and sign autographs with his right hand. I got so many bear hugs from him and we took a lot of selfies. I even got to fluff up his hair! Isn't that so hilarious? I kept asking him if my hair was ok and he said it looked fine. I was like, are you sure? He said yeah! And also...he recorded me saying, "watch the walking dead tomorrow night" and posted it on his instagram. And I have never seen an episode of the Walking Dead. hahahhahaha

He wanted to know if I was coming again the next day (Sunday). Ha! But I did not plan to.

I'm going to print out one of my photos of me and him together and for laughs, I'm going to sign it, "To Norman, with love. Jess." And give it to one of my friends to give to him when they go to one of his conventions.

After all, it's not everyday a chimpette will fluff your hair!

Yup. Not a lot of 1:6 Planet of the Apes happening right now.
And this site never works 100% for me since the changeover so I'm not here as much.

I get notices but I am busy with 1:1 scale stuff. My 1:6 apes have been put on the wayside I am afraid. 1:1 scale pays better and I need cash like you would not believe!!

Also, I hate the change in this place. I can't even reply via my cell phone, and that's annoying!!

I have 3 wigs and hair pieces that I need to complete ASAP. I need to upgrade my costume and just sew it from scratch. I need to make a mold of my Cornelius so I can bake foam latex. I need to scrub out my mold so that I can make foam latex Ziras for me. UGH! So much work I need to do. So little time!!

You could probably look on ebay or some 1/6 scale site that sell individual pieces.

As I anxiously await the latest cinematic chapter of the Apes saga, I decided to pull out some old friends from Sideshow to get in the mood....





There were such awesome figures for their day....and as far as I'm concerned, they still look great....they are still among the favorites in my collection. It's so sad Sideshow didn't keep on going, but at least we've got these!

Great pics Jedibear! Some great classics right there. Very excited for Neca's Classic Line to hit the shelves. I just put of a review of Caesar from the highly anticipated film of the year. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes! Hitting the theaters this weekend I thought I review Neca's Series 1 Caesar in excitement. Enjoy!

Neca really did a great job on their Dawn figures. Only real downside is they're on the small side.

Made a custom base for my Caesar.
