KFog - When do you think your Hot Toys will arrive?

I had cancelled the SS order and went with Alteregocomics! I received the same email as Stickman showing no mention of receiving them in within the next 30 days. I am hoping that that will change and is not the case. I ordered one Ursus, One Captain, and 2 Soldiers.

What do you guys think would work for real hair arms? I have an idea but not sure how to pull it off..........yet.

I wouldn't know how to go about glueing it on!

You let that bother you? I don't really care if it's wrong. I must've seen Beneath a 1000 times. I couldn't even tell you what the males have on their feet. It' just not important to me.

I-man... I've done it before with my old Hasbro Apes and I used crepe hair. It is cheep and easy to work with. Just glue it down in layers and work from the hand up as far as you need to.

Well to me Sideshow issuing slippers for characters that wear boots is as big a mistake as Conquest putting human shoes on all the ape feet. Accuracy & consistency, should not be much to ask!

Today, I decided these two gorillas also needed more hair.

Was sitting on the couch today and the postman came to the door and delivered a box. I was thinking while I was opening it, "I don't remeber ordering anything". When I opened it, there he was, Ursus. I hate to say this but Hot Toys left SS in the dust on this figure. He looks like he just walked of the scren. I'm not a double dipper but if HT releases more of the ones SS already did, and they look as good as this, I want them! The only issue is his hat. It is made like Hasbros and limits his head turning. I am hoping that if you get one Angel that you will re-cast it and make the flap in the back out of the material you used for the SS Ursus.

The did get his gun holster on the right side. The head moves up and down which I thiought was pretty neat also

You sure sound like one happy human! I love that last picture Dr. Z! I'm not getting any of the Ape Hot Toys. However, if I were to "break down" and actually get one, it would certainly be Ursus.

Any chance you might take some New Pictures of the Jail Cell along with some other new scenes?

Here's my take on the Preacher ape. I struck gold when I painted this one! Not sure what I did that made him look so good. I'm just very happy with this fella!

Note: I received the head from Snickertown and I had Jessica make the purple robe. Thanks to each of you!
