Ok got her today. The box was tiny which I'm ok with. It was funny how small the base was. But I'm fine with it taking less space. The good news is the statue is not small. It looks pretty nice PF size. I was expecting much smaller. How she fits on the tiny base is kind of cool. As long as she does not tip over and break. The sculpt was nice. I like it, the ex hand was much better then I thought. The face I looked at it for a while and it was also a great face. Overall it was a great statue by SS and mark!
Ok the bad news is QC again. The reg arm on her left side I believe it was when her arm bends has a crack in the line. The paint is lifting upwards. The base has a small chip on where the center of it.
I will be contacting SS today. Hope they can take care of those minor issues.
It's getting bit stressful now waiting for SS to respond back to me. I called SS and no one is there today. It was not even on the scarlet witch yet. The delay in response time is starting to make me worry more and more. I don't even know what's going to happen? Now I have these on to deal with:

Spider woman - waiting for replacement - I'm ok with the wait on this one. As long as I get a full replacement.

Storm- I'm waiting on a new cape. Mine had a splat of paint on it. SS took care of me fast on that one. I called today and the lady was very nice saying more parts are on the way. I thought they forgot since it's been over a month of waiting for it with no notice. I'm ok with the wait as long as I get it.

Aayla secura- waiting for a new base. Wiring is screw inside I believe. Saber and connecting wire act strange and does not light up all the way unless I keep my and on it pushing it in an angle. Then it will light up in full. Replacement is on the wait list. I'm ok with the wait.

These two below are the ones I'm getting impatient about, getting too much turn around on them.



Lady death- I need a replacement base is chip big and sword broken. This one I'm concern with no replies for 2 weeks now after 2 emails. I called and SS said I have to repond only to back to the original email sent to me to work this out. I ask to be transferred to Daniel. But no go. SSAlex was super nice to let me know they still have some left so I still have a bit of time to get a new one if I must return this one.

Baby doll - I need a new tiny right side hair piece replacement. There's a tip I found that cracked off. The other minor flaw I can deal with a small refund. But this one same no replies after almost 2 weeks. Well I did get a reply first a generic email but no reply for almost another week to my response email asking for the replacement hair piece.


I wonder if I should call and leave them a message or another email? Indidnt send it out yet because I don't want to confuse them with another email or phone call yet. I wished they can take care of these issues faster.

Damn man, that's weird. I haven't had any issues with my orders, thankfully. Maybe you need to tell them to check your orders before shipment.

I believe him. My last handful of statues have all had problems. Most of the statues I get from SS have some issue or another. Only Joker PF EX and Gambit LSB EX haven't had problems. The other SS pieces I have had no issues with were older pieces I got from sellers.

Waiting for my SW...since the "rain" on Friday kept UPS from delivering, which would have been perfect since I was home. Today they sent a salty email: "although we advised you of a delivery in advance"...lol, they act like it's a given a person would just be home. The next 2 days, I know there's no way for me to be home so I have do what I normally do, authorize through the UPS App and hope it's still there by the time I get home.

Today they sent a salty email: "although we advised you of a delivery in advance"...lol, they act like it's a given a person would just be home. The next 2 days, I know there's no way for me to be home so I have do what I normally do, authorize through the UPS App and hope it's still there by the time I get home.

I hate UPS, but I hate FedEx more. I don't know how close you are to the UPS location near you but I've had luck the past couple times deliveries came before I got home and if I immediately call them and have them hold it, I'm usually able to pick the statue up that night with no issues.

Hi my good neighbor, member on here told me about the my ups choice website thing. You can sign in and check off for each SS shipment for them to leave it at your door. I now have had 2 boxes left in my front door which saves me an hour going to ups to pick it up. It will be there on the first day. Thanks so much to that nice members info but as far as the scarlet witch. She's pretty nice. Better than I thought for sure. Pretty decent size, overall I know you will love it. Saying there's no QC issues.

Nope as I mention before in the thread. I do not care about the tiny scratches, damage boxes, spots, etc. The only things I care about is the actual cracked off broken parts or cracks with paint peeling off it. You must be thinking of another member. spider woman is now next to my scarlet witch they both look pretty nice together.

No, I'm not thinking of another member. I just find it hard to believe every single piece you have received has flaws that you consider major enough to get a replacement.

Honestly, that is probably why they are only offering you a $20 credit. You have so many "replacement" orders in with Sideshow, they might think you're trying to pull something with them.

Yeah I hope they don't think that too. All I want is a replacement part. Not my money back. I hope they will pull through. I'm not even a picky collector at all. I'm really easy to please. Really I am.

I would say that out of the last 10 pieces I've gotten from them, I've had to destroy 2 or 3 of them. Not a bad percentage i'd say.

Sometimes when you get a damaged figure Sideshow will demand that you destroy the figure and send pictures of the destroyed piece before sending a replacement.

Yeah honestly i'm not super picky either and I've had to ask for replacement on the last 3 pieces I got from SSC.

Gammorrean Guard - Scratches and paint issues on base, breakage on skull, chips on body and head and big paint issue on body. Replacement

Lady Death - Paint issues all over base, on hair, on eyes and on hand. Return for full refund

Witch-King - Breaks and paint issues on face, chip on collar and gap between head and body. Asking for head replacement.

Yeah if you want to risk getting your account shut down. Believe me they will shut a account down without thinking twice. Don't risk it. Just not worth the risk at all for something so small.

Thanks. I thought of getting shipments held before but the nearest location is about 30 minutes away. Not bad by what some people have to travel. So far I've been ok getting them left at the door. Sometimes I get a competent delivery person, instead of leaving the box right in front of the door where the world can see it they'll leave the package at the far end of the porch where it's not too visible. I wish they all did this.

I believe that was me, lol! It's slightly risky, but my neighborhood is pretty decent.

I was asked this about the Storm Ex head. On top of not wanting to be dishonest, I always thought if I used someone else's pics and that person requested a replacement, that the customer service rep reviewing the original photos would be the same person reviewing them when I send them...Surely that person would realize they looked at the same photos from 2 different people. That'd be just my luck anyway

scary, but unless the figure has a major defect i couldn't bring myself to destroy it.
