st1138 i was actually afraid of that when i was moving the head becuase i thought it would get loose somehow. Mine however is tight so i dont have that issue. Definately call sideshow about that.

ok, thanks guys. Sounds like I'll be calling them on Monday. Sucks that I can't get it fixed before then. I've been so excited for this figure.

Got my exclusive today as well. Quick question for those who have gotten theirs and tried posing the head.....If you pose it straight forward and up, does it stay in place? For some reason mine seems to be a little loose and droops down right after I pose it this way. Anyone else on here had this problem? I'm a little bugged by this.....especially for the price I paid! Arghhh, I'm going to have to call SS on Monday.

no problem with my one dude

Ended up cancelling my exclusive...I don't collect Star Wars merch but thought this would be a good point to start, especially with the low edition size of $300, but too much stuff is coming due now.

Hope I don't regret it.

How much does it droop? Does it go from all the way up to all the way down, and not hold position? Mine isn't super tight and move in jerks (like Boba), but the ball joint moves smoothly and holds any position. The helmet attachment to the upper part of the ball joint does feel like it has a very slight wiggle (the helmet moves a little before the joint does), is this what you mean? Also, you might check that the clothing around the neck isn't binding the ball joint.

This is my first post on the boards. I have collected GG for a while, but got my first PF figure last week. Grievous is my first.

I just placed an order for this Scout Trooper last night. Well, I have the EX on waitlist. Hope I get it, also hope the stance is good.

It doesn't droop a ton, but the ball joint does feel a little loose. And the ball joint doesn't hold any position, especially straight on and up a little bit which should be the easiest one to hold.

I will check the clothing, although I'm pretty sure that's not the issue. I did call SS yesterday and I"m awaiting a call back from the returns department. This is my first PF figure and just think the head should be tight and hold pose in any position given the price of these suckers. I really like the piece, just want it to be right.

The base is great !!! Kinda worried about the pose...

For those worried about the stance, don't be. I was a little concerned when people mentioned this, but the pose that shows up on the Sideshow site and stock pictures is misleading. They use an awkward head pose there which makes the stance look funny, but if you adjust this to your liking it makes a lot of difference. It's really a great piece.

Nice feedback on the stance. Thanks! I hope they get your trooper's ball joint worked out...

Those types of things frustrate me also.

Did you order when they first went up for sale or did you do the waitlist?

Thanks,
Boba86

I ordered the same day they went up, but after the Exclusive sold out and my waitlist got converted.

As an update on my inquiry to Sideshow, they are setting me up with an exchange and I will be sending him back. I'm glad they are doing this and SS is great with it's service. Just a bit sad it will be out of my possession for a while again. Oh well, as long as I get it worked out!

Very good to hear SideShow takes care of their customers. I have collected GG for years, a have had many issues go unresolved. This is what set my mind to start looking elsewhere for my collecting needs. Thank God for SideShow.

I saw something on YouTube where someone had an issue with Speeder bike and trooper and SideShow sent him another one, so he made a film with his wife destroying the trooper. Shocking to see them destroy a Scout Trooper.:horror

You still collecting GG Boba? I see you at RS. Got any SS products yet?

Hey, to those that have received this one already, is it as light as the Boba Fett? I have heard that may that collected the PF Boba thought it was kind of chincy since there was little weight to it. Does the Scout Trooper feel the same? Thanks

Quite the opposite. This one is quite heavy....I know the package from SS was 16 lbs because I have to ship mine back and get another one. Made of polystone so it is a quality piece. Hope this helps!
