I forgot about the newsletter last night so I only checked it this morning via my inbox and it sounds like it's a good thing I did.

The Scout Trooper actually looks pretty good. The edition size and exclusive are pretty cool also. Fortunately I don't care for Scout Troopers so it's no loss that I wasn't able to order one. But if this happens with a Stormtrooper Exclusive, I'm going to shake my fist at you Sideshow in an angry fashion.

The problem with TBD is it's flaws. You'll have people ordering out of hype and people who will try to pre-Order flip/scalp only to cancel if it dosen't sell. Thus SS is stuck with a enlarged ES/Stock.

1) There is a regular edition.
2) You are paying more for the exclusive.
3) The gun is based off an idea from a video game and not from a film.

All very good and valid points but unfortunately, you missed the most important point. People who own the exclusive are better and more elite than people who own the regular.

Even if they wanted to be cheap, they could have straightened one leg and had the other perched on a fallen tree. That would have resulted in only making a new sculpt for the one boot with a flat foot. It would have been better than the "take a dump" pose they are using.

What do you know, that is practically the exact thing they did, the only difference was using a rock other than a tree.

The preview pic looked awful, but the final piece looks pretty good!

though... I'm not a fanboy and don't care about weather or not something is screen accurate or not. So I like the look with the gun on his back!

I was wondering where that rifle was from. A video game, SW battlefront, which wasn't accurate on the clones. Glad I passed on the EX.

So for all you people who are saying 'I ordered it just because its kind of ok' or 'I bought one so i can trade it later'...thanks very much for taking one more away from the collectors who really wanted this figure but could not afford to stay up all night because they have work the next morning and live in the EU. xx

Sideshow is an American company so you gotta play by American time zones. Sorry you missed out but there are many EU collectors that stick it out if it's something they really want.

I got the Ex. and I like the sniper rifle having played and loved battlefront. Though I would have liked for the scout to come with an extra hand to hold the rifle and not just hang it slung on his back. I can't wait till this comes out.

You don't have to drop $300 on it. The regular version without the EU accessory is $280.

I think most collectors want the exclusive, it adds alitttle prestige but collecting is mostly about rarity. The edition had to be low, unless an ewok was involved. Still with all the bashing, the final pics look good. The PF works and may look good with the Scout on Bike, the regular edition shouldn't be more then 700, but I still dont know if I want to go after the Scout/Bike Pf after this, hopefully this PF hurts the value of the biker and I can get it cheap.
