What I don't know is if the one that's still available at Amazon for $80 - the deluxe edition - is the same. If so, the Amazon deal of course is better.

A lot. The deluxe has the landspeeder and death star models and has a lot more content in the book itself.

Check post 72. I didn't take any of inside the book but its almost a completely different book than the reg. If you can swing it get the deluxe.
