Bam- what happened to karaoke? :tap A group of us showed up and you weren't there.

Dude!! I was ready to go....but some _____ waitress got me in a super bad mood...so I bailed! ____ that _____! She got me all cranky!

I regret it tho! Pitu said it was fun! :lol

I'll side with Bam, our waitress really was crappy and made the night even more crappy. On top of that I started feeling really tired and was just exhausted. I do feel bad myself for leaving fellow freaks hanging.

Oh, man. I just had a totally random and completely non-sensical craving for one of those terrible Cafe Express pizzas. :slap

Took a little longer than I expected but SDCC withdrawal is finally starting to kick in.

:) I had SDCC withdrawal Sunday morning. I fear life will never be the same.

i cant wait for next year's comic-con already lol in a span on about 5 minutes i met dj Deadmau5, Leonard Maltin the movie reviewer, and tony baxter one of the head imagineer's for the disney parks

This year was a low for me. In the six years I've attended SDCC, this is the first time I've ever been ready to pack it up and head home after only the first day. I may pass on 2012 all together. I just can't justify the increasing cost of admission while the quality of the experience simultaneously decreases.

I hear you. Just 5-6 years ago, a four day pass with preview night was $50. Now its $175! And I don't see any reason it has more than tripled in cost so quickly. The con isn't any better (worse actually) so I don't believe for a minute SDCC is a 'non-profit' organization. Somebody is raking it in. :tap

Well, non-profit only means that the company itself cannot profit. If it does have any kind of profit then usually they are supposed to donate it to some sort of charity or cause. However that doesn't mean that the employees can't make money. Who knows, maybe they are hiring more people or increasing their salaries. I doubt they are paying more to get celebrities, I imagine the studios are paying them to appear, if they need to. Perhaps some of them just like to attend.

There was definitely more security this year. And I use the word "security" lightly. Definitely more "Door monitors" this year.

There was one person per door, where in the past that person would have had to cover about 4-6 doorways.

Those guys were everywhere. Especially for lines for exclusives and panels.

well supposedly, the rising prices is for the back expansion of the Center. But we'll see.

I think the biggest let down was the lack of star power in Hall H this year. Marvel, DC, and Disney all decided to skip showing movies. Outside of Twilight, I dont think there was a line outside of Hall H that I saw

Yeah Ive already decided that 2012 is a no go for me. I think my group all decided on 2013 for our next go at it.

I had a pretty good Con experience this year and nothing will keep me away from 2012. :lecture

Here's the card that the ever-so-talented Sara Vikingmagyar made for Dave. Inside listed all the Freaks and SS staff that contributed to his gift. :rock

I'll be there next year too. :wave Can't miss The Hobbit. :D Though I am already dreading how long the line will be for that panel. :(

Entertainment Weekly said 2012 could be the "geekiest year ever" with possible panels for:
The Hobbit
The Dark Knight Rises
The Avengers
The Amazing Spider-Man
Man of Steel
Prometheus
the new James Bond movie
The Lone Ranger
Hunger Games
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Clash of the Titans 2
Jack the Giant Killer
