Just got the tweet as well. 1000 tickets??? What's the point? I guess to piss off your customers a third time. Those will probably go in a couple of minutes, while the servers start crashing, and then the rest of us still left with nothing but our ____ in our hands.

You see that in order to get the tickets, you have to pay a $3 fee for each one too the LeapTicket company. That is CRAP! SDCC should lower the price of their passes by $3 then.

Why make the customer pay for what they keep screwing up.

If you go to the website, they say that they are going to credit back the $3 by taking it off your ticket price at epic, for this trial only.

Basically it will be a 2 step process.

1-Click on link that sends you to TicketLeap where you can reserve up to 2 badges at once, and pay their $3 per badge fee.

2-You will receive an email from epic for each badge reserved, and each email will have a unique link that will then let you purchase each badge.

Epic fail in the making. I think the problem this year was announcing a specific date when the tickets went on sale. I don't remember them having specific dates in the past. They just went up at random basically and word of mouth slowly spread the news without issue. That that is what they nee to go back to.
