That's what I do, go solo. Works out alright. Only schedule I have to follow is my own and there is plenty to do there, so you definitely don't have to worry about getting bored.

Looking forward to doing it again... if and when tickets ever go on sale again.

I hear ya on that....luckily my gf is pretty cool and would pretty much let me do my own thing if I wanted maybe now that I live in St. Louis Ill have a better chance of meeting people with similiar tastes. Before that I lived in a town of 500

Luckily, my wife, her sister, her brother, and her sister's fiancée are all into it. We usually share a room and do our own thing while there. We'll typically meet up at the events we all are interested in seeing. Usually I'm standing alone in the early morning lines. I don't value sleep as much as they do. But it's a lot of fun talking with everyone.

My BFF's is from QLD! YAY.....P.S...U don't have to bring me Tim Tams anymore...they sell them at Target over here now!



But yeah! Been searching for a place to stay. It's just me and a couple friends. We decided that renting a condo is the best option since hotels are so expensive to pay individually, but the split between 3 people is so expensive atm....hopefully a few people will join our bandwagon and cut the cost! *ssiiiggghhh* If not we'll just get a hotel ...or stay in a dingy hostel (bleh)!

Either way...I'm still pumped to go!!!

Last year was my first time to go and not only did I have a blast but my wife who has no interest in my collecting also had a great time. We are wanting to go for the full 4 days this year (only went for the Thursday and Friday last year) but this damn ticket fiasco is getting outrageous. I needs me some SDCC dammit!
