For those who have been to the con before we all remember those lovely 2-3 hour lines with our fellow nerds and geeks. And those who are attending for the first time, yes there is a line. I'm thinking we approach the Gentle Giant booth as a group.........but with a plan! :rock

I'm thinking we could always go with the reliable all Blitz tackle into the crowd to break through the lines.

Or as demonstrated in the 1992 flick 'The Mighty Ducks', we can do the Flying V.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Big DaddyRob told of his time waiting in the lines with his missus a few years back. The trekkies were out in force. His missus mentioned loudly the Star Trek Enterprise exclusive was up. Half the line ran off. I suggest you try something similar first and tackle the rest.

Hmmmmmm maybe pay someone to page GEORGE LUCAS overhead on the Com to the food courts. (Which is on the opposite side of con from GG)
:rotfl :lol :rotfl :lol

and then we execute!

Eat a big helping of the hot chili for breakfast. A well placed fart would clear a 100 foot radius. :lol :lol :lol j/k

What's funny is that there were only four or five of us posting in the "Who collects the GG Potter busts?" thread a month or two ago. Now that they announced the low edition size, everybody and their Aunt May will be knocking us out of their way in an attempt to grab this thing. I have them all so far--with all of the unreleased ones on order--and I will be very bummed when I miss out on Malfoy...

:sick

I guess my only hope is that they get this online preorder system figured out in time.

I got you beat, I also have the Hungarian Horntail Dragon. It's awesome!

My wife would be seriously pissed if after letting me go alone to the con this year I dont bring her back the Malfoy. She has every other HP piece in her collection so far.

Jesse

At least she has someone going who can get one for her :monkey2

Well anyone can go, it just takes money.

That's one expensive bust. Your making out on the deal if you pick one up on Ebay. Cause it's gonna cost me about a grand!

I would really like that one as well, but I am not sure that I have room. How much space does it take up with that wingspan?

Do you have any pictures?

I recall Mike Crawford saying its 21 inches tip to tip. Although it does stand pretty high up. I have my HP busts displayed all around underneath it.

Sombody call me?.....................

OK, that was pretty funny.

Tom, my computer's acting up and not letting me download new pics. I'll try and figure it out this weekend or just download them to my computer at work.

It's not as tall as I thought it'd be, but 21 inches does sound about right.

I don't usually laugh at my own jokes, but I do still have tears in my eyes.......

Ahhh Danny you make it so easy!

It is nice Tom. Get it if you can. The only thing that bothers me is how light it is. I thought Adam was playing a trick on me when I first picked it up, and had removed it from the box.

I have all the busts also, including the SDCC exclusive Sirius Black from last year. Besides Sideshow, the Malfoy bust was the only exclusive I had to have from SDCC this year, so it is really going to suck if they screw this up!

I hope you people have better luck with this than I did with the Blackhole Stormtrooper.

Oh who am I kidding, I hope you don't! :devil

I don't sound bitter by any chance, do I? ;) :p
