agreed, but i don't mind that at all. what would've REALLY set him off woulda been synthetic hair. WHY isn't SS using hair?! they started off w/ it on Vampyre and Elektra and it worked well. i thought the whole point of the PFs was to be as realistic in the portrayal as possible. Buffy needs hair too. if it's cost prohibitive to have it applied per unit at the factory, maybe they could make wigs that could be tweaked for each different PF.

Frodo looks ok to me too. Not perfect but still nice.

Easily the biggest disappointment for this year's SDCC was no new LOTR PF.

How does Lurtz look in person? Is it comparable to some of the top statues from Sideshow? Like Ex.General Greivous, 1/4 scale Alien Bust and Ex.Predator statue?
Does it have WOW factor?

Lurtz is one of the most amazing PF pieces I've ever seen. The whole thing looks as if it jumped off the screen.

Lurtz is nice, but I wasnt as impressed as I thought I would be.. I spent more time gazing at Ironman, Ghost Rider and The Hulk. Poor Lurtz got a quick glance and I never returned..
