SDCC P.F. Lurtz and Frodo pictures...?

Hi Everyone,

Since Lurtz has always been one of my favorite Characters since the first statue and bust came out, I always wanted a Lurtz in Armor statue from way back when. Once Sideshow announced it was the first PF, I was ecstatic. Now looking at the pics again, I can't wait for him.

This is THE figure I have wanted for a very long time. I am so glad he is the first LOTR PF.

It has been a long wait though.

Me too. That Lurtz is absolutely spot on incredible. I'd be hard pressed if properly set to tell whether it was a DVD capture or a statue... Frodo on the other hand... well at least 1/6 Anakin kinda looked like Hayden after the talons of production took hold....

I happened to be around the booth when a Sideshow employee took of the sword and shield and replaced it with the hand and bow.
The bow looks much better in my opinion.

Lurtz is nice, but I wasnt as impressed as I thought I would be.. I spent more time gazing at Ironman, Ghost Rider and The Hulk. Poor Lurtz got a quick glance and I never returned..

Are you not a fan of Lurtz? or LOTR PF line? You are one of the few people
who weren't big on PF Lurtz... I'm just curious to know why you weren't so impressed...

I just say bring on Lurtz. I'm so out of room with my collection, but you can bet when Lurtz arrives, something else is going back in the box to make room for him. LOL.

I thought Lurtz looked "ok" also, wasn't blown away by him. I decided to pass on the PF line and canceled my exclusive Lurtz...I'm sure some guy on the waiting list will be happy. Not that I really didn't like him...just too much coming in the 4th Q.

Lurtz is freakin awesome Believe me, it is worth it. I can't wait for it to arrive soon. Sorry to say but SS needs to make more LOTR PF. Put a pause on SW PF and concentrate more on LOTR PF More creatures PLEASE!!!!

Thanks to all those posting the pics! One nice thing about seeing these two figures together is finally getting a little sense of scale. I can't wait to see Lurtz in person, and I am one of the few that think the Frodo sculpt is actually pretty good, so he will be a welcome addition as well. Lurtz will tower over the poor tiny hobbit!

PF Lurtz just looked very "doll like" to me... I guess Im not a PF guy..
