I don't think you can full appreicate them in the box. I have opened all of my planet of the Apes ahd have them displayed with each other. Displayed together really acccents them and they compliment one another better this way

I open them. I, like everyone else, don't see the point in buying figures if you're not going to open them and display them

All my Buffy 12"s are still sealed in the packaging. I just prefer them like this. Plus, the packaging is so cool!

Am I the only non-opener?

I keep them in the box/card. I don't have a shelf or cabinet or anything. I usually just hang them on the wall by their J-hook, so I keep them in the package. Easier to dust, easier to rearrange. Plus I have a preschooler, so they need to be high up on the wall, and in case they fall down, I don't have to worry about hunting around for all the pieces or "improvement" of the figures with magic marker or crayon.
