So far so good imo.
Love the way the T-600 looks and moves, has a real sinister feel
to it. I think this movie will be sweet and if its not...well it
won't be the first time I've been disapointed.

Kind of a strange batch of clips to show. None are particularly exciting.

exactly what i was gonna say. these clips weren't really anything we haven't seen yet other than the T600 and last clip. all the others were extensions of the bits from the original trailer.

TDK had about 12 TV spots before the movie came out. The movie clips neared around 10 I believe and they showed some of the goods, like Harvey, Gordon and Batman on the roof, some of the Joker's antics. I don't think the scope of marketing for a Terminator movie could bear any weight on its quality, no matter how good or $hi^^y.

On that note, I think the clips are pretty decent....one thing though, Bale's acting really suits emotionally dissonant scenes, but oftentimes I find that when he has to be 'tough' it just falls ever so slightly short. That's the vibe I got from some of the clips at least, but overall I love the guy's stuff and am looking forward to it.

When I saw Stark Trek I was actually quite pleased at the time-^^^^^k with Nemoy and the way it - within the narrative - kind of took into account its own existence as a prequel. Hopefully we see some similar things but more elegant since this is the terminator universe and not jj abrahms (winces slightly at the thought of mc G...I mean his name is friggin mc G)

THAT IS GOOD

It's all a matter of preference I guess, but even Arnold, the human, played the Terminator more stiff and deliberate. He always looked solid. This 600 just seems to have too much wobbly movement to me. It looks like a guy in a suit not because it is, but because of how it carries itself. Even the T-1000 was more mecahnical. No wasted movement. This 600 doesn't have a cold, calculating, solid presence, but a big, sloppy, wasted movement presence that throws the believability off for me. I'm getting used to the design being too big, but I still can't watch it and believe it's a real machine.
Well, being a 600, it probably came before the 800, so therefore wasn't as 'solid' as the 800. Know what I mean?

In the clip where connor is talking to a chained up Marcus, when he says "You and me, we've been at war, since before either of us were born. You tried killing my mother, Sarah Connor. You killed my father, Kyle Reece. You wil not kill me."

Now, is he just saying You as a general term for the Machines, or is he saying it as Marcus directly?

He was just saying that to sound cool because he know marcus was going to steal the show.

Pretty sure he was saying it as a general term.
