Have to say that although Miltary lines are not my thang, this sculpt is excellent the paint is superb ta boot, thought this was a painting at first. I agree this would be a real shame for all the Military guys and gals if they were denied access to this sculpt due to some closed minded idiots who pick due to their jealousy,

yeah i thought that was pretty ridiculous. picture comparison from osw looks pretty different to me. if you compare everything from the hair all the way down to the eyes and nose, etc. the longbow version looks almost like a caricature while serangs is super realistic. serang if you're reading this please offer us your work! your head is the best hanks by far!!!
That is not the same sculpt reworked.
The only area of similarity, and he may have used it for reference as it is well done on the longbow, is the browline, and it is not dead on the same.
No way he should have caught hell for THIS! It is amazing.

My opinion as a sculptor,this is NOT the longbow sculpt. As Les said, he may have referenced the LB sculpt a bit. I do that, just to see how a another guy may have handled a particular feature. It may have a similar feel, as he does seem a bit influenced by LB's high detail style, but he seems to have a much better grasp of it.

Didn't see those comparison pics on the first page initially. Only real similarity is the expression. Look at the ear, at the jaw line, the hair....sorry, if someone out there can do it better then why shouldn't they be allowed?
Does anybody know where I can get an outfit for Capt. Miller? Did any company ever make an outfit specifically for this character like DML did for Stauffenberg from Valkrye?

well some people just wants to bring down others success by making false accusations to make themselves feel better. If serang did indeed revised longbow's work I'm sure he would admit it.... it's not big deal.
Heres a good base you can use. I would also try to get a BBI M-1941 Jacket. It had a better fit
