Serang's New Sculpt - Doctor Of Medicine.

It looks vinyl to me somehow. The nose looks kind of translucent if you look at it closely. I woulldn't be surprised to see this star popping up on eBay soon.

looks like it's sold as a kit... from the look of it... probably done by the group who released Sin City Bruce Willis.

On that small truetype body, his head and feet look horrendously big. Looks like a bad cartoon of House. It does look like a kit, and not a very well made copy of Serang's.

The other scary thing is that even a crap bootleg copy of Serang's looks better than Triads.

There's no question that that is Serang's sculpt with the hair modified.

It does look like a kit, and not a very well made copy of Serang's. The other scary thing is that even a crap bootleg copy of Serang's looks better than Triads.

WTF are you guys talking about!? It's a completely different sculpt. Different nose, different Philtrum/infranasal depression, different mouth (lips especially), different forehead lines. I mean it's not even remotely the same. So I have no idea how any of you are just blatantly stating it's a knock off!?

FYI: when people sculpt the same exact character there's bound to be similarities. But to look at those similarities and say "See.. obvious thievery" is beyond me. Yeah.. it's a House M.D. sculpt. So is Serang's. That's about the only thing these heads have in common.

Even the F'n sandwich, cane AND Shoes are different!

I know collectors are jaded because so much stuff gets recasted and ripped-off, but seriously, this is not one of those cases. The items in question don't even remotely resemble one another enough to say it's stolen. So iunno what the hell you guys are seeing.

Serang's work is brilliant, but this latest one looks pretty good for a company release.

That new one is garbage, looks like Kenny Powers.

Thats Serangs head too. I dunno, looks to me like they copied it and it lost some detail in the mold, then they just redid the nose and hair. Look at the way Toys City heads come out when they steal them from Kai, they lose some detail just like that and misshapen a bit. Its just not as quality a pull. They simply cast it in a differant material that couldn't show the detail the same.

The eyes and cheeks and size of the ears all look exactly like Serang's to me, and the cane is a dead ringer, I don't see any differance in the sandwhich, cane, or pill bottle either except that they are a little deformed/too big from ____ty pulls. The shoes are definately differant but clearly it was all based off of Serang's work. I assume the shape made them too difficult to recast. And didn't Serang already say it was a recast, I think he would know, its like telling someone that isn't their child because you put a hat on them. Their still going to regonize it.

PS if its the same company that just did the Sin City Hartigan, they stole the Bruce Willis sculpt from an old Triad one custom dawg modified for ebay, they just added the scar to his forehead so its not like this company doesn't do that...

There is a huge difference between the mass produced unlicesned House Cane and Serang's custom House cane.

Serang's cane has a more circular curve whereas the other one has a more tye of curve; the handle is more stretched out

In my opinion,I think the entire scultp is new but that the reference the sculptor used for the head is the same one that Serang used for his version

The wrinkle on the brow/nose is obviously different though the eye shape looks the same; most likely it is the reference image
