I'm pretty sure his tailor is Yunsil. Some of the SSC items attributed to him on their website are listed on her website as past projects, in fact. My guess is he was the go-between for SSC and Yunsil. Maybe he helped supervise production of those prototypes or something.

Wow and I always thought he did his own stuff. It's quite weird that Yunsil would let him take away all the credit, and not associate herself with SS. Isn't that like a huge thing in the industry - To be officially recognized ? Look at the publicity Kato got when he did Joker's attire.

It's ironic cause Serang isn't quite Shakespeare himself. :lol

Every time this Thread is Bumped, I Hope Serang has came through for someone. This is not the Case. Serang is an Amazing Artist! How did he Let himself get to this point?:dunno Giving folks fake Tracking numbers! ETC. In the End, I hope and Pray  Everyone gets their refund! I guess my Hopes of a Jimi Hendrix Woodstock figure is over!:monkey3 :monkey2 :lol

I'm not suggesting he tried to hide that information from anyone, but I used to assume that he did all these figures completely on his own, and apparently that isn't the case. Of course, Rainman doesn't do his own tailoring either, which wasn't evident to everyone until a couple years back. Korean artists may just assume that people know this is the typical process, so they don't go out of their way to advertise it.

Come to think of it, you may be right. I remember KoJun's figures were always tailored by Hai Lim (HT's couturier, something like what Kevin Ellis is to SS).

Truly sad.
Although I couldn't afford his stuff, I greatly appreciate and respect his talent.
This is like losing rainman.
Such a shame he had to resort to eventually ripping off people.

I spoke with serang a few days ago.
That statement is very true although people are having problems with rainmans quality control I'm hoping he doesn't go anywhere because I admire both serang and Rainman.

Few people following Serang the past few years would've guessed he'd turn into a shyster. If I could afford it I would've ordered the VG too.

I think I paid 41600 for the DX, luckily I was able to have my CC company get it back.
