Dunno, I'm coming up on 7 months since I paid another artist for something but I'm not worried about it (and they've since gotten an additional $1500.00 for other projects). They both have a good track record of delivering releases that they've been paid for. Hard to imagine someone like Serang taking the money and running. Inconceivable, pretty much, given his past releases and reputation. Anyway, just my two cents.

I checked his website to see if either set was available now that he's given at least one refund, but both show as sold out, still. Might be best to e.mail him direct/post on his Facebook page, though I guess be prepared for a long wait until he replies.

Oh I didn't mean that he would take anyone's money more refering to the fact that some people might need the cash sooner rather than having 1k tied up in one figure for almost a year.

I think the problem has to do more with lack of communications than with the wait - though at one year for some people the wait is on the long side. Serang does have a great record for delivering on past projects, and for delivering the highest quality figures. However, this time there have been periods of as much as a month when serang has not responded to multiple attempts made by several people to touch base.

1500 is too much for me right now.., the main diference between the full set and h&c is the special weathering and many acessories right?

When you order just sculpt or h&c set, Serang paint all sculpt or he just paint fullset sculpt and contracts another painter to make the job like Rainman does?

Its a great piece of art, but man.....thats a lot of money for you guys to sit on and wait all this time.

It is, but whether the cash is with Serang or on your shelf, it's still "tied up". Definitely not the kind of figure people are going to buy on impulse so I wouldn't imagine anyone that buys would want to turn around and sell it to fund something else. Anyway, I get the impatience at this point but at least he's agreeable to refunds should anyone want to back out.

O... I got a refund alright Gareth .. To me this is crazy , a year with little or no contact and still no Van Gogh Like I said crazy !

But that's just my opinion of course.

I'm sure serang with pull through for you guys .. Eventually
