Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Ti originally scheduled for a May release? Now SSCs site just says 2nd Quarter 2013.

The way things have been going with Sideshow releases lately...I'd say that's a good plan.

But as long as Sideshow delivers a beautiful statue I can be patient.

Agreed. I have a big collection so I'm not in a rush anymore. I do think the qc has been getting better. My last four pfs have been great. There was a bad stretch before that

I agree. My last three statues have arrived in excellent condition.

That bad stretch of poor quality statues had me a little worried about my future orders but I think Sideshow is doing a better job at QA now.

I see two challenges ahead for this piece (well I can see a lot more but...): the details of the face being very sloppy and the blue highlights being too one dimensional and less faded and toned on the final production piece. The base should be fine, the main color of the body and the white parts should be fine (judging by Darth Talon), the leg bandages should be fine. Now if they get the red/orange right it would be easier to mod the piece and have the facial details done better by a pro, ditto for the horn things

After having seen Aayla, I'm mainly concerned with the skin tone(s). With Talon it's a different thing. She has a lot of tattoos to contrast the flat red color. But with a piece that has a "clean" skin, it's more important that there are highlights and tones. Same goes for her head-tails and montrals. The blue vs. white needs to be done carefully.

I noticed on SS that Aayla has a standard version and an exclusive version. I’m currently on the waitlist for the exclusive Shaak Ti and am wondering why there is no standard version listed? Does the standard version get listed closer to the release date? I’m new to this and was just wondering in case my waitlist for the exclusive falls through.

Thanks for the info and the link Centurion, but how are you finding that page / link? When I go to SS and search the Star Wars PF statues it does not show up, only the EX does. Is it possibly this is something only the retailers can purchase?

It's the SKU number. You'll find it in the URL (web address).

If it ends with '1', that's for the Exclusive.
Removing the 1 at the end of the SKU will get you to the regular edition.
