i never got into ds9 after many tries although many fans loved that show, just something about a floating space station in a star trek series instead of a enterprise space ship turns me off.
voyager was ok, watched on and off. But nothing like next generation which i followed religiously, my hs math teacher would let us watch the show every other week for the whole class and points out the mathematical concepts in the show, like when one of the guys said setting a new course at optimal shearing angle. He would explain what exactly that means, what's a shearing angle. I loved it.
enterprise started out epic as a prequel to everything, i remember when i watched first ep when they transitioned from the space shuttle into the first spaceship in the intro it was very cool, nothing like that was ever done in star trek. Too bad the series became worse and worse, i stopped caring after the first season.
