Kits go together so well it’s ridiculous. They all need paint though. That’s what takes most of the time. Got the B-wing... can’t wait to get some time to wrench on that.

What paints do you use. I have a 1/72 Tie Fighter that has yet to be put together.

I've got all of the 1/72 ships released, along with some of the 1/144 and 1/48. They are all works of art.

I received the PG Falcon earlier this week and it is simply amazing.

Awaiting the limited edition B-Wing to be released.

They look really good! But I might look at the 1/144 instead as the 1/72 might take up too much space. Also seems like they released a lot more in that scale. What do you think?

Pretty sure 1/72 is their main scale at the moment. Just go here, and look under Products, Vehicles for each era.

1/72 is a lot smaller than I expected. This is a 1/72 X-Wing

Yeah I've got a collection of SW kits too, and used to be really big into models until I got caught up in the 1/6 thing.

My biggest project was accurizing the old 1/72 Fine Molds Falcon, but now I'm thinking I should just get that new and improved Bandai version instead...

Yeah they're great. I wouldn't have minded getting the 1/72 Millennium Falcon, but at $400 odd it's pretty pricey for what you get. However I do have the Studio Scale DeAgostini Falcon which was certainly more expensive, but far bigger and detailed. Still building it, it's a life event ! So good.

Would recommend it to anyone.

I looove the Bandai kits! Totally recommend them too. If you're gonna start, I'd suggest jumping into the RPF General Modelling forums. There's heaps of posts on weathering techniques and painting tips. I've assembled most of the OT ships and have the 1/72 Falcon waiting for me to upgrade my work desk. Definitely check them out, and just like collecting 1/6, you won't stop at just one!

I finally finished my final setup for my collection! Here's my Star Wars display! I have mine setup on a smart plug so my Amazon echo can turn it on by voice command.

Did you use natural daylight LEDs? Which ones if you don't mind me asking?

Wow looks great with the LEGO on top. Really shows how great they are.
I wouldn’t have room for 1/72 Bandai in my displays, so I think that 1/144 is the way to go for me. Unless I should find a way to display my LEGO with my 1/6 collection like that...

Yeah I like how the LEGO sets just fit over one detolf, and the same would go for your kits as well!
