just a few pics, not very well lit or posed, but you get the idea. I think the True Type bodies just hang and pose so much better then the SS body.

I have got 2 caucasian bodys on order, and they should be with me next week. The skin colour is closer to Shaun and Ed's face tone.
I messed about with Ed's fat suit until I got it sort of right, but it still needs some adjusting.

I think ed looks alright, but I agree Shaun looks a bit strange. I think it's the big, broad shoulders of the true type.

Don't take it personally, Rincewind. I think they look better just by the fact I've always hated the Buck bodies. But Shaun does look a bit off. Nothing you did, it's just the broad shoulders. Simon Pegg is a slender guy with narrow shoulders. Nick Frost is a big, hulking dude, so it fits him. I'd have to double check, but I think Simon is also a bit shorter than Nick. Maybe a Dragon body would work best for Simon. He would be more slender, and a bit shorter.

Yep, got my two exclusives yesterday. I bought two giftcards on eBay, one for $12, one for $24. So I have about $60 with shipping in both.

Well finally got Shaun today, and typically from Sideshow it's turned out to be a very mixed affair as far as the quality goes.

On the whole I like him. The accessories are great, and the likeness is okay. But I'm amazed at how undersized the head is. It really shocked me when I opened the box! What were they thinking. The hands look enormous compared to the head!

Also his ankle joints are extremely loose, which is bugging the hell outta me already.

I'm sort of pleased that I got him, but I really think that for the price Sideshow are charging for these that the quality should have been better.

Ankles on both Shaun and Ed were weak on mine... they stand well though even w/o a stand so not a huge issue. Still, I'll be glad when the Buck is a thing of the past.

i cant really say that mine were loose on the ankles. 21st century toys made a decent body that would stand up pretty good considering the gear and how top heavy their bodies were. but the boots help on how well the figure will stand too. but it couldnt hurt to have them a little tighter.

I finally had time to open mine today and since I had my paints out, I decided to "bloody" them up a little...to get them closer to screen accurate. I guess I should add, I added a little super glue to both sides of Shaun's collar to keep them from folding up. I also used a little superglue to keep his tie in place. Last, I stuffed Ed's pants to give them a little bulkier look. Hard to tell in the photos...looks better in person!

I like the work here--- Great painting addition-- makes them even better. I'm still considering if I want to do that, and also make Shaun with the head "bandage".

I would love to see Darren save these two especially since I don't think we'll be getting any licensed Shaun stuff any time soon from SSC if at all at this point. I still lament at the missed opportunity that was Zombie Ed.
