Shipping Notice for Sidious Mechno Chair!!!

Just got my Quantum View shipping notice for the Sidious Mechno Chair!!!

Should be here on the 18th :emperor:emperor:emperor

What? Are you sure? That's 8 days before SDCC even starts.

I checked the number provided to Quantum view by Sideshow and its the same order number as the Mechno Chair... weird huh?

I also got a Quantum notice (2 lbs) listed for Monday delivery - 16th.

I thought it was Leia but I checked and it's Holo-Sidious.

That is odd. I would think these wouldn't be shipped till after SDCC.

Here is the title on the email:

UPS Ship Notification, Reference Number 2: T543320

And T543320 is the order number for my Mechno Chair so unless its an error it would seem to be what I'm getting. Mine's 2.0 Lbs as well.

While I did not get the Sidious, my Subject 560 is showing that it is shipping soon as well. I noticed it last night.

Got mine too!!

When I called Sideshow yesterday, they said it wasn't going out until the 20th. But I'm not complaining. Yeah, we may get ours before Attendees, but they also got it for $5 less plus they get to go to San Diego!!!!

BTW, mine is scheduled for delivery here in PA for 7/19

Ya, as a Non-Attendee for all the conventions, I am blown away everytime at Sideshow's concern for those of us, and I don't see attendance as giving you some special privileges, ya you'll have to wait to see it longer than NA's if it is shipping now, but with so much else to look forward to, does one figure really matter? You're going to see big premiere's up close and in person that us NA's won't see til it ships to us, you'll see all kinds of celebrities, if I were going I'd be too jazzed about the whole show to worry about one exclusive, and bottom line, you're getting one, there are some who want and won't get.

I remember a couple months ago some guy made a stink on the SSC site over the fact that people that could attend should get something more than those who can't. Sideshow's refusal to do that really hits home for me, especially being on the complete opposite side of the country.

Going the extra mile and doing something totally unique for convention attendees that the non-attendees don't get a chance at through them and at best eBay down the road.

I think he means an Exclusive of the SDCC Exclusive. Sideshow refuses to do that and makes the exact same item available to both As and NAs.
