I think he means an Exclusive of the SDCC Exclusive. Sideshow refuses to do that and makes the exact same item available to both As and NAs.

I meant that SSC refuses to make an exclusive that only those attending or those willing to pay a high end second hand rate can get. I think they rock for giving everyone the same chance! That's just my opinion though.

When I collected six inch figures, people that couldn't get to a given con were SOL. Mattel was pretty big into their con exclusives, and they were usually characters that you'd really want. She-Ra comes to mind...

Just got my shipping notice as well. I didn't even know it was coming this soon. I thought they'd be shipping in like two weeks. And I haven't gotten any notice emails.

Mine didn't ship yet! Grrrr... I'm jealous. I got the notice that it was going to begin processing on July 9, and shipping starting July 20. I'm surprised they are early...

No notice for me either and my card has not been auth'd yet either. Guess my phone order on this one puts me at the bottom of the priority list

They haven't finished processing either the Leia Boussh or the Mechno chair yet. I called this morning to change the credit card on the Leia and was told that it was okay, because my orders had not been processed yet. Which is weird since I ordered both within minutes of it going up for pre-order. However, she told me that they would be processing today and Monday and should be completed with both items by Monday. So, don't panic yet.

P.S. However, I should mention one thing - due to the length of time between order and shipping the Leia, I checked my original order yesterday in "My Account" and the credit card info was gibberish. Since I was changing it anyway, I didn't mention it. However, you guys might want to make sure you didn't have the same problem - so as not to delay charging and shipping.

Well, both my Leia and Mechno-chair were charged yesterday, so I am happy about that. If you guys don't get some kind of notice by Mon. or Tues., I would call to be safe. Here's hoping the chair is worth 52 bucks.

My Quantum notice remains at "billing information received"... so it hasn't been picked up yet. Means they'll pick it up tonight, deliver tomorrow at the earliest.

It seems that there is a pattern for every con exclusive.

I believe all NA Chairs will still be received around the same time as SDCC. I would be surprised if they got them before SDCC even started. This'll be interesting to watch over the next few days.

Perhaps the NA orders have been sent off to the UPS system, and subsequently Quantum notices have been received, but Sideshow scheduled pickup for a later date so that they'd get to people around SDCC and not sooner for the Attendees to have their treat. Don't forget, Star Wars alone they have 2 figures to ship out right now, on top of who knows what else, it might have been easiest on them to ready the Darths now so when Leia came in they'd be out of the way as far as labelling and fullfilling orders. Plus, they need to sort out what goes out to people and what gets loaded for SDCC. Bottom line, it's a beautitully crafted piece I can't wait to get and we'll all have it soon enough

This has happened to me a couple times. The package stays in CA for a day or two, making rounds, and then seems to hop a plane, because it shows up in NC only a state away from me. So hopefully by tomorrow there's some kind of update. Gonna need to rearrange things ahead of time though. Time to go re-pose!
