Updating this thread as the season finale of Shipping Wars, one of the cast ships big Star Wars items and I thought some SW fans might want to see it. I am going to hunt down some info as AE doesn't quite have it up yet. So check the last post for updates.

My Fiancee is an asst. Editor on the show Shipping Wars. It's on AE and is actually pretty good. I don't really like too many of those reality shows, but I am looking forward to the next episode.

Here's the AE page for it.

Here is next weeks partial episode description:

Bullship
This Week | Tuesday, January 17, 9/8C
When livestock hits the uShip auction, Jennifer makes her move and wins a haul of two bucking bulls. When this experienced cowgirl picks up the bulls, she finds them meaner than she expected and ends up having to board them every night. Shipping them becomes less of a concern for her than just keeping them alive.

Anyways, check it out if you can or want to. You may very well enjoy it. :D

Re: shipping Wars

Looking forward to things like:

"OMG! This should've shipped 3 DAYS AGO!!!"

...and...

"MIGUEL, WTF?! WHERE'D YOU PUT MY GODDAM PACKING TAPE?!?!"

...and the ever popular....

"OH NU-UH, Y'ALL MUST BE CRA-ZEH! AIN'T S'POSED TO BE DRIVIN' NO FORKLIFT! Y'ALL DON'T EVEN GOT NO LICENSE!!!"

Though, to be fair, it's probably going to be comparable to Parking Wars, but with more comprehensible dialogue. :lol

Re: shipping Wars

"Well, here goes nothing... I submitted my PayPal 'gift' payment, here's hoping my stuff arrives safe and sound!"

Fade to black

"2 Hours Later"

"WTF?!?!? I'VE BEEN SCAMMED!!!!!"

Re: shipping Wars

Before this thread gets too derailed... Of course I'll check it out, BG! :rock

Re: shipping Wars

So wait, this is a show about mailing stuff? :lol

No, not at all. It is about truckers who have to pick up odd, or maybe heavy loads. They bid against other truckers for a job, and then they do the job. Lots of crap happens along the way. It's been quite enjoyable and my fiancee has spent many, many hours at work getting these episodes finished. So I am proud at what has been accomplished.

Sounds like it's worth a spin. We already know KD has it Tevo'd and is already nagging Amazon about the preorder. :lol

Re: shipping Wars

Too many of these damn show, shipping wars, storage wars (pretty good) parking wars. Reality shows are mosty staged theses days.

Re: shipping Wars

I liked the episode of repo-men where they had to repossess a guy's hot dog cart. They also had to repossess another guy's hearse. That's quality entertainment right there.

Re: shipping Wars

I'd watch a show called Toilet Wars.

Most of these shows are fake and staged in every way. "Operation Repo" is the stupidest show on TV and is nothing but actors, same with some other new repo men type of show.

Re: shipping Wars

I watched this. Totally addicted to it, just like storage wars. The dude with the fluffy mustache seems like a real tool who just criticizes but never does any jobs.

I like the husband and wife team. The scene where he has to fill the jerry can with diesel cracks me up. Especially when he loses the nozzle in the gas tank and tells his wife not to touch it. His wife of course does not listen and she gets it out, further pissing him off and then he chucks the nozzle across the street. I had to rewind that part.

I can tell you it's not as staged as you think.

The older guy, Roy? I think...HE is an ass! Always pushing the bids too low. But it's the rookies problem if they don't factor stuff in and take the bid.

Anyways, I actually do like it. And it means a lot that Jenn is working on it. Even if others are making fun. I'm really proud of her.
