Items have been removed from the website. So everyone who buys a fellow item from a customizer on here and resells it for more, they should have a thread opened about them........

If you did all this as you say, why would Mfisher all of a sudden say you stole his info? He would've known you were "promoting" his services by cut/paste his descriptions and pics. Doesn't make sense...

Not to mention how is "promoting" the same as adding on a selling fee?

Hypothetical question. What would happen if you sold some items and mfisher didn't fill the order with you? Would you blame mfisher?

Items have been on my website since April 2011.... Its not like I just posted them on there. I actually own those pieces as well.....

Yes but it got out of hand really quick....

An explanation has been sent to Mfisher, no need to waste more of my time here. None of you are forced to buy from me!

No argument there :lol

Maybe it would be best if everyone refrained from commenting until mfisher is able to review the PM. Lets try to play nice for the time being.

What I don't get is the OP said he only remembered one order to Q's home town. I think that may be a queue to keep it private for the time being. Unless he did not get an answer for a while. Ya know, like when you inquire into the status of an order and get no response fir over a day or so. :impatient:

I just sent you a pm, was busy dealing with this unnecessary drama. Ive been gone all day, a little patience would be appreciated. It is a Sunday and post office is closed today buddy... This place is turning worse than ebay. Someone pays for something on one day and the next, WHERES MY ITEM...... I have a Job, Family, and a Side toy business to run with only one employee, ME

I really think this matter should've been taken care of privately first. Then, if there was a disagreement, a post could've been created.

Everyone's so quick to make dealers the bad guy (or anyone selling stuff, for that matter). We do it, even with Sideshow when something doesn't work out (Bruce Wayne Batman, anyone?).

Seems like this forum is just addicted to drama.

Thanks for understanding and not casting stones....

I contacted Mfisher in April to see if you wanted to do the onesixth xpo show. I told him I would help him and other customizers out to promote their business. I listed the items on my site in attempt to get him more exposure. My site is run by me only, as you can tell by the custom section, it is pretty bad and out dated. I did not intend to sell anything of hise, I got a couple of hits and redirected them to his site. My parts numbers say MF, so obviously I wasnt trying to hide anything.

I wish you would have given me a chance to explain myself, never heard of innocent until proven guilty? I never wanted to cause any drama, just wanted to help a fellow freak out.

I believe this answers the question.

Thread closed.

I agreed to let Mfisher respond and here is his response:
In response to this entire incident I want to reiterate a few things as well as point out a few issues that surfaced throughout this thread. My sole intent to start this thread was to point out one major issue... and the issue was not that my work was being resold at a profit. As I stated earlier I do not have any problem with that. However, the glaring issue was the outright theft of my images and web content without any reference to the original source. A few have commented that I should have taken this up privately with the vendor. However, the vendor took my images and work publicly without EVER asking for permission. So the issue was a public issue and not a private one to begin with. The act that should have preceded me sending anyone a PM was that permission to use my images should have been requested first.. PERIOD.. I did, however, call the number listed on the website twice, prior to posting... but got voicemail. In response to the claim that there had been an effort on the vendor's part to collaborate for a convention, yes.. I recall being asked about making gear for the convention, but again, that is a far cry from asking to use my property for their site without ANY indication on the page of who made the gear... which again, was NEVER done... permission was NEVER sought.... The claim that this was done to support my business is questionable as well, as is the claim that any interest stemming from his site was sent directly my way. I do not recall ever filling any orders wherein the customer referenced being made aware of my gear from that particular web vendor. I also find the explanation at odds with reason.. as if this was truly done to support my efforts then there would have been an unambiguous reference to the gear being made by Mike Fisher.. and not a part number that only included the letters "MF"... and if the customers were simply sent my way.. then why is it advertised for sale there from the vendor at a substantial mark up ? I also find issue with the parting remark about any member reselling another members item for a mark up should have a thread opened up about them too... well.. no... but using another's intellectual property without permission.. (images, item descriptions etc) warrants a public warning. And as for the claim that there was any act concerning defamation of character is simply a misguided claim... There would have had to be some kind of claims that were untrue and had put you in a false light to even argue that civil action... I simply brought out the fact that you had used my images and web content without ever seeking permission... no defamation there... if a guy robs a bank and you call him a bank robber you have committed no civil wrong.... In the end I find the ordeal to be simply unfortunate as I have been conducting business with this hobby for almost four years now.. and done so without any substantial hiccups along the way... I have worked hard to be as reasonable and easy to work with as possible.. I take pride in the fact that my turnaround time is quick and reliable and that I value running an honest endeavor with my gear. So I am rightfully insulted and frustrated with being taken advantage of..
