A lot of valid points made by Deckard. I know I could at least "fix" KOTCS given the proper editing device. There is a solid movie there...deep, deep, deep inside.

Perhaps he was not joking....

Anyways people would have been satisfyed had the film been good and not just been the crap fest it was. It's not just a bad Indiana Jones film. It's a bad movie period.

Well, I was just saying, no one can make a better Indy film, because everyone has their own said prefrence for it.

If I wanted an Indy film with robot nazi's, people would hate it...:lol

But I wouldnt want an Indy film with space pirates from the year 2929....

That's al l I was saying. :dunno

I can't get past the 40 minute opening. Raiders is my favorite movie, then TOD then LC. I love Indy like Tron Guy loves Tron.

Tryed 3 times to watch CS on DVD, fell asleep twice during the 40 mintue warehouse opening (and I NEVER fall asleep during movies.) The other time I made it to when hes talking about the Crop circle crap and just thought what am I watching? Turned it off. Never finished it on DVD, I just can't, it sucks way way too much.

George Lucas is a washed up tool.

Speilberg lets his cinematographer do all his work.

Ray Winstone's character was retarded.

Karen Allen can't act for ____.

Shai is a cry baby.

John Hurt was wasted.

Connery's legacy was ____ on.

Monkeys

Groundhogs

Repetitive nut shot jokes

a Nuclear explosion survived at point blank rendering simple humans non threatening by comparison

Living Aliens and Spaceships are stupid. The unknown is far more interesting. Indy didn't watch Belloq melt, God didn't have to come out alive and ____ing explain it to him afterwards.

The villains sucked. Visually non stimulating drab and totally inept.

They missed an oppurtunity for a fight between russians and Natives.

Too much CGI

TOO MUCH CGI

The pacing was not Indy.

The ending was not Indy.

The greatest adventurer ever is married and has a kid. They chopped his balls off and gave him too much responsiblity to be going out risking his life anymore.

Riding into the Sunset = Perfect Ending

Marriage with Tool teen hearthrob joke about taking over franchise = Ruined Franchise

By comparison to that list, this :

Life Raft
Heart Rip
Mine Shaft "Jump"

Is Dark Knight Nolan ultra realistic.

I agree.. For me, Temple of Doom is my favorite movie with Raiders second best. I liked the darker tone of the film.... Indy 4 did not feel like an Indy movie and was even less interesting than Star Wars Episode 1,2 and 3 were which is hard to do.. I do hope they make another Indy film and go back to the roots.. If they do that, then I can forget about the 4th and end it with a good note..

I have an idea, have Shia captured by Mola Ram's grandson and held for ransom. He gets to drink some blood and becomes a zombie... That gets rid of Shia up until the last 10 minutes of the film when he gets rescued for the happy ending....

KOTCS wasn't a bad movie and I'm in the minority that I was happy it got made. It was fine for was it was (a popcorn movie). Last Crusade was still the only Indy movie that I can't get through all the way without: either 1) get bored with it or 2) fall asleep.

It definitely should have been made.... WITHOUT Shia.

Shia is the biggest ********* in Hollywood in my opinion. He made the movie unwatchable.

Well I don't know him personally but to me he was part of the reason I liked anything about KOTCS. Mutt was a fun character and added to the film. ____ like the gophers, the wacky fridge ride (not as bad), the monkeys, flat out showing the aliens, Marion's wild river ride, Indy not really getting into it (no use of his gun, Oxley & company figuring out every puzzle for him, & barely using his whip), Marcus' head falling off the statue, the horrible wedding scene, etc. Those are my problems. The movie puts Indy in a corner and removes his balls, it's more of a comedy instead of an adventure movie with comedic elements. TLC had this stuff creeping up left and right but KOTCS goes balls out Eopie fart gags.

Yes. It was a fun, entertaining film worth every penny of my theater admission. People that think otherwise seem to have forgotten how to have fun at the movies.

Oh I loved Mutt's character, it was a really deep family connection he shared with his dad that made the movie what it was. Shia is the greatest kid actor on the planet and all of our kids should look up to him as a role model. The gophers were simply the best CGI I've ever seen, and this would not have been an Indy movie without tons and tons of CGI now would it.. Look at Raiders, we had the giant bolder, the CGI snakes, CGI God laying his wrath down and CGI melting faces.. Mola Ram pulling out a CGI heart....

KOTCS had such a touching ending with the wedding and all, we all love the new romantic Indy that is now a dad.. What a great heartfelt story... This was what was missing from all the other three films. Indy kinda adopted short round but left him in the dust apparently since we did not see him in Last Crusade.. I guess short was too good a poker player...

Who am I kidding..

Skip to 4:13, the man tells it like it is. :lol

He's already in the Guinness Book of World Records as the actor that has made the most money out of his movies....I find it hard to believe the motivating factor for doing another Indy movie would be solely based on more money.. Somewhere in there he has to be doing it for the fans as well...

I'm sure he wants to leave his kids and wife as much as possible. And jet fuel aint cheap.

Hes not Mr. Headline anymore, he's playing second fiddle to Rachel McAdams and Brendan Frasier in medicore romantic comedies. Those roles weren't for the story telling. Indy is his meal ticket.

guys are rough... and did'nt waste a second

Jim

Meh...don't listen to them ...they're just trying to be cool. :lol

Anywayz....I say...KOTC should have been made....except with out the aliens, tree swinging and nuking of fridge.....oh and green screen....and CG.

Everything else is alright.

This would explain why he's slumming in Cowboys and Aliens. I've seen that trailer 3x now, and each time I see I ask myself "Why Han Solo, why?" Even Daniel Craig seems to be lowering his standards by starring in this movie....he's F'n James Bond!!

Well its not like this trend is recent. Harrison hasn't starred in a great movie in over a decade. Its been a huge downward spiral that started with "Hollywood Homicide".

Its a shame because the man deserves more and quite frakly still has the clout to demand it. I guess the guy has just started sucking at picking scripts.
