Should Rainman Artwork re-release unpainted head sculpts?

I'd absolutely love for Lee to do another Chaplin. Maybe Katharine Hepburn. Cary Grant. Isn't Rocky Horror Picture Show and Blues Brothers one of the popular cult movies.

Yeah, too bad there isn't more interest in classic film actors/characters from Grant, Bogie, Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin, Newman, Redford, Mifune, Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, etc.

I would pay such vast sums of money for a top shelf Sellers Clouseau. Also lots of musicians that have potential that we haven't seen pursued very much, beyond Serang, Cheungkinmen doing Freddie Mercury, and a handful of other projects here or there.

Musicians would be great. Still, there are classics like Redford and Newman, Jackie Gleason, John Wayne. I'd love to see a James Garner from Rockford Files, Archie Bunker, Al Bundy, Jerry Seinfeld, etc.

I hope nobody will say Lee people voted "yes" because of recasts. This is a false interpretation. When I see how many recasted heads are sold only on ebay I am not scared to see the truth. I didn't answer to this thread regarding recasts. I did because I'm not sure I would have bought so many figures from Lee if I knew what would happened after that. Ok we are talking about people having FullSets. So they have a painted head by Lee, the original and limited figure. So they should not complain right? What about people who bought H+C with the ****ing DF studio paint. Aren't they left behind? They need to upgrade their figure. What about people receiving wonka heads with yellow hair, the mix up from the last restock? Those problems should be his main concerns imo. And then they see the same tailor is doing the exact same outfit again.

I think everyone should know how this works. Most people should email Lee. Someone who sold every figure he had for $$$ should not be like the intermediary with Lee here. On his facebook the only person saying something is Odell Young, famous recaster and b**** who scamed me and numerous people. I mean maybe Rainman doesn't care once everything is sold but come on, does he even know Yunsil is ready to do the complete collection? Also why is Denny K. on some certifications? Should we think Iris = Yunsil? Rainman's boss = Denny

Whats your list? Or what POPULAR character should Lee do next? Lee's bread and butter has been popular cult movies (with the exception of Dexter) but he's done a majority of the more popular ones. I'm curious to see what he could possibly do after Torrance. Maybe he should go back to picking his own projects. He seemed to like doing older classic Hollywood characters (Chaplin, Hepburn)

The figures will sell for what they are worth at any time. If there are several versions of the same character, then you wont make as much on it when you sell... Big ****ing deal... We all must know by now that this hobby is not an investment. Eventually your prize will be no longer the value you hoped it would get.

There are others making stuff and making the same character which is their right. If one sells better or turns out better, then that's how it is. I am sure when someone tackles a character, they try to make it the best they can. If someone can make a better version, or a similar version then that's great too!
A full set or DX rainman will always be that. That won't change. The value of it might, but not what it is. Appreciate that if you love it.

And back in the day Scott (VM) made all his own clothing for his figures.

Then you should definitely continue to pursue your dreams and leave the concerns of the art customs world to the men.

I vote you keep the unpainted heads going. Just do a re-release once a year. I can't afford buying a full set so me putting together my own figure is the way to go. To me value doesn't even matter. I'm just happy to have something of his in my possession.
