I just talked to a gentleman named John in the return department at Sideshow regarding my PF Darth Vader light saber. My issue was that the piece of metal that connects the saber to the hilt was bent, and because of that the light saber looked "crooked". John got my order number, and told me that a replacement would be sent out today.

That's it...done and done.

I continue to be impressed with the level of customer service that everyone at Sideshow gives us geeks. It makes me feel better about the amount of money I spend...

Thanks John!!

I've worked with John once he was really cool. Honestly SS CS folks are the best around. They will go to the ends of the earth for you and try to make sure you are totally happy.

I'll see your shout out and raise you a props. Returns Dept. is off da chain. :bow

I have also dealt with Jon, and can add my appreciation to the growing list of happy customers in this thread!

EDIT: Oops! Better spell the guy's name right if you're gonna say nice things about him!

Jon is over here blushing :)

He deserves it though (well, most of the time anyway :p), one of many 'behind-the-scenes' - so here's to Jon and his rockin' return service :duff

I concur. I've dealt with Jon a few times and he's the shizzle nizzle. :bow :rock

I don't really know what that means but I thought I would sound hip if I said it. :D

I totally agree, Jon is top notch. I've had a few dealings with him via telephone and e-mail. He responds and takes action expediciously, efficiently and effectively.

Atta boy, Jon! Keep up the GREAT work. :clap

I would like to take a moment to congratulate zoomaround on his fine use of alliteration in this last post!

Not to mention his assonance...

Jon helped me on my George Washington return. Which was a pleasant experience. My new Washington is sheer perfection.
It also surprised me that Sideshow emailed me a prepaid mailing slip. I'd thought I'd have to pay to return the figure like I have with other companies. Sideshow rocks! :rock

I too had contacts with Jon on returns and yes I only have praise for him as well.

To side track a little, a friend of mine who also buys sideshow products have been facing problems with contacting sideshow. I've no idea why, he did everything he is supposed to do according to the steps given on the site. After which he approached me and told me about it. I then gave him instructions and still no reply. (I did ask him to check his spam/junk or even trash in case it was wrongly picked up as spam and also to check if his email that he sent out to sideshow matches that in his account. All seems ok)

So in the end I gave him Jennifer's email as i've dealt with her before and she's great as well (he's not a member here). Hopefully he will get his issues solved. Firstly he had wanted to return his regular Han Solo as he doesnt quite like it and his exclusive Vader which just arrives had problems with the lighting.

I have never dealt with Jon (or any of the return people) and hopefully I never will but its nice to know that they are so good with their returnes and treat their customers so well... good job Guys.. and Gals.

sideshow customer service can't be beat!!! They are OUTSTANDING!!!!

Agreed. I have dealt with Jon a few times myself and he is highly recommended. I actually have recommended a few friends to e-mail Jon directly if they want something done right. He does an extremely good job.

I wanted to add I had a great experience with John as well. I had a damaged Vader with a damaged base. I just received my replacement and it was PERFECT!!!

I can't put my finger on it but the quality of this new Vader seems much better. The base was also perfect, the stained appearance was gone.

I don't know if John visits this board but if he does...Thanks!!!
