The most expensive figures I've ever bought, the price is simply redicious.

Ridiculous yes, but what beautiful figures! And great shots too OMG. I love the HeatMetal rider, I much prefer the silver/red combo over the green/black and blue/yellow of the other W versions.

I've never seen the show but after buying Faiz on a whim a few months back I have fallen in love with these guys. I'm going to track down some of the shows and see what it's all about.

I have just ordered The Next Shocker Rider, and I have my eye on a few others. Sadly there are a couple I think are really stunning but I doubt I'll be able to afford/find them - like Shadowmoon and New Den-o Strikeform.

You love these rider figures and didn't see the show?????

Start with Faiz, Kiva or W, they are all fun to watch. I didnt own Shadowmoon too but no rush, just wait for ver.2.0 like Kabuto.

Thanks for the info on both counts - I'm looking forward to checking these guys out on film. Awesome character design - the whole aesthetic is so cool.

Thanks for posting the great pics. I'm sorely tempted by Faiz even though I haven't watched the series yet. I really like the design. Looking forward to Kamen Rider Kabuto 2.0 though.

Question for the KR veterans - I got a Faiza while back and thought I'd build a line of these cool looking guys. My next figure was 'The Next' Shocker Rider. I was surprised to unbox him and see how small he was. Faiz is big and beefy like a regular 1:6, The Next is puny. Are all the new releases a larger scale from the old ones, and all the older ones the standard puny medicom scale?

Or are the new ones also varying in scale from one another depending on which line they're from?

It depends on the line actually. The Next series uses medicom older bodies, which are really skinny. And the skin tight costume is true to the movie, which actually makes it look even smaller.

Most newer figures have lots of padding/foam/muscle parts to beef up their size. Medicom also uses extenders to bring up the height of their figures.

I would actually recommend buying the newer released riders instead of hunting down the old ones. Reason being, all new figures uses the improved body which isn't as fragile as the old one and the quality control is better.
