I'm waiting on a CAINE Ash from Painter X, but in the meantime, I decided to upgrade my old SS Ash. went for a kind of compromised look for Ash; something between AoD and FvJvA. Behind him is a headless/pantless W.I.P. Herbert west, but don't mind him.

Agreed. Though I think Painter X (now BANNED) may not come through, so I'll have to make other arrangements. Caines head is my favorite so far, though I do hope he does his take on ED2 soon.

Is that a misprint... would be surprised to see them offer a licensed figure when everything up to this point has not been. But that would be cool to see a licensed EDII Ash and with that team I'd imagine it would rock ***

Iminime has done a handful of licensed products, including the Charlie Chaplin his estate signed off on, and a police figure from some film I don't know anything about. That have collaborated with ZCWO on some other projects I think. Denny's plan seems to be doing more and more of these things until they become a more "legit" company that doesn't do unlicensed stuff anymore. Not sure if he means it is Evil Dead or Evil Dead 2, though.

Yeah, the post could be interpretted that it's licensed or just another project coming. Either way they do good work, so if someone just wanted a complete figure likely they'd be the cheapest option aside from building one yourself.

how do they plan on topping Beto's Ash??

I will say anything action figure-ish/1/6 scale regarding Evil Dead 2 always has me intrigued

Don't know if they'd top it... but could probably deliver a comparable one or at least decent enough. And their prices are usually more in the $350-$500 range.
