Heres a few random pics of my troops, i dont have many but i love em.
Some pics with SS helmets, and some with custom stunt helmets.

I've just ordered myself the Medicom ( red) Clone Commander but I'm in a little bit of a dilemma . It'll be my first Medi Star Wars figure and I can't wait to get my sweaty paws on it but the pristine finish of the armour troubles me as I like my Clones to look a little "battle worn" . Doing it isn't the problem , what is , is deciding between "weathered" or "brand new from box" ? Opinions please !

Love this pic DC, nice customs and setup. Looks like you have a sweet cover for your troopers too:google

Weathered. The look like pretty toyish without it.

Well, it's a little scene-specific, see: In EP2 (where the red clone captain comes from), the clones had just been deployed. IN fact, when you see the captain on screen, it was probably less than a few hours into the war. Also, these guys aren't infantry, they aren't on the front lines like the plain white ones. The one in the movie was at "the forward command center", commanding troopers and defintiely hadn't been shot at yet. Nor would he have any blast damage, or any skid marks (from the ground), or any scratches. All he has done in the entire war so far is wait for ground troops to clear an area, then he showed up and sat down in the command post. So unless you want to give him "sitting-damage", he should mostly be left alone (although I hear sometimes sitting can do some pretty serious damage, pushing buttons too! :lol)

SO if you're going for a screen accurate captain from AOTC, leave him nice and shiny. If you're going for a generic clone captain from much later in the war, go ahead and throw him on the sidewalk and scratch him up a bit! :lol

Of course, the screen accurate version should have some reddish dirt residue on his legs up to about his knees, because of all the dust clouds on Geonosis. But keep in mind, this guy would rarely see a whole lot of action, as he is a commanding officer.

Good points, well made . This is cause of my dilemma . As you say , screen accurate would have him squeeky clean . To be honest , I wasn't going to go overboard with " battle damage" , just add a little dirt and "shade" with pastel chalk . As I've yet to receive "Red", I still have some time to think it through . ( But I'll most likely do the above!):D
(This is a "battle damaged" Clone ! WIP so bear with me )
