Hasbro's is great

and ToyAnxiety.com has hoth binoculars by sideshow and sandtroopers binoculars by hot toys both at $15.00 each

I have the Hasbro (weathered) displayed with the SSC Scout Trooper. How are the Sideshow binoculars compared to Hasbro? I know HT, I own the Sandie.

Are six-inch figures welcome here?

Any suggestions on ways to fix the marmit Fett helmet? It just seems way way too small

Yeah, I bought a HT helmet for about $40 and have almost finished rebooting the whole Marmit as ROTJ (using a few Hasbro Fett parts also.)

The Marmit helmet's a little too small but it's mostly only vertically short ("squashed",) and the Marmit bodies are a bit oversized too.

Will have to pull both helmets and do a side by side comparison.

Ok, as for my Marmit Fett, decided to get the water pot out and did some boiling. The helmet is squished a tad - with the heat up method, it does look a lot better. Decided to use the sideshow knee pads, the shoulder pads and the belt - along with part of the sash. And need to dirty up the Marmit body suit - its amazing how much better the 'little things' add to the original appearance.

Will post pics when all done.

Looking forward to see your Frankenfett.

Yeah, with a heat and sideways pull the Marmit helmet is better, though it's still a bit short vertically.

On my ROTJ Fett Marmit conversion (using a HT Fett helmet) I used the Hasbro jumpsuit because the Marmit is very dark grey - I was going to try to lighten it with paint, but it just seemed too dark.

Because the Marmit belt pouches are so tiny, I might see if I can score a HT belt parted out. Otherwise I'll have to build the pouches.

I really wasn't sure what to do with my Marmit Fett - so many bits just didn't look right and it isn't worth that much - but I'm pretty happy with how the ROTJ conversion is coming out. Getting a pretty decent looking Jabba's palace Fett for only $40 extra outlay. The armor repaint/weathering is a major pain though.

I need to keep an eye out for some Fett parts from Sideshow. I kinda like the smaller pouches on Marmit....and see what you mean about the helmet being a tad small. It is = but I can deal

Forgive the outside shot - needed better light to show off the sideshow parts - I am using simple parts - belt, left shoulder pad....DSCN0722.JPG`

I hate the sideshow body used on Fett V1 and V2 - same body far as I can tell. I am using the base Marmit body.......and removed a bit of padding inside helmet....WIP of course
