Thanks for your opinions guys... sorry I am late to say so.

Darren - Your opinion has actually help me decide to go ahead and get one for the family for christmas.

I have a PS3 , but find only a few titles acceptable for my young daughter to play. I am hoping that the family can enjoy a game together and think the Wii will be more family orientated IMOHP.
(Just my humble 2cents worth)

Yeah, there are TONS of nonviolent family-/group-oriented games for the Wii. You can probably start a Family Game Night or something. Your girl should love the waggle.
