Are you talking quality wise? B/c GeeWhiz does in fact make custom clothing and makes nearly all the proto clothes for current Big Chief Studios 1/6 figures. I have owned some of their stuff in the past and it's definitely great quality stuff. Nothing like Kato, Toribox, etc. but still usually higher quality than you get from SS or HT. They only made the shirt, pants and jacket for the Bespin look, though. The belt, holster and boots are HT ASWS Solo Han by the looks.
Ah the jacket looked a lot like the SS one with the Hoth Han.

Geewhiz has done a ROTJ version too:

Took about 3 1/2 years, but just completed my ESB Han custom.

That Gee Whiz set looks pretty nice, and the young Solo figure is still readily available for some of the key ingredients (body, boots, belts).

Is that body tall enough?

I made a custom Bespin Han with Sideshow's Hoth Han shirt, jacket and sculpt, and their old Bespin Han's pants, belt and boots. But I was never really happy with how any of the clothes fit or the head, so I ended up dismantling it and selling the old Bespin Han.

I don't regret it, but I still desperately want an official Bespin Han! Honestly, it could be the last and only figure I want. I have Snowspeeder Luke and the ROTJ Scout Trooper on order, but there's nothing else on the horizon I want--EXCEPT Bespin Han!

(and maybe a HT Hoth Han)

and C3PO

I gave up waiting Hot Toys, so I tracked down the Medicom/Enterbay figure and put a Sideshow jacket on it.

Sent an inquiry to GeeWhiz and got a reply. As much as I want to I’m not sure if I can justify it. The outfit (blue jacket, cream long sleeved shirt, and brown pants with the yellow stripes) is $260.

You can add on the boots for $150 more. On top of that they still charge $40 for shipping plus a 6% handling fee. So basically $500 for a custom piece..

Very torn. I feel like it could go either way as far as an official Hot Toys release. If I paid that amount for a custom piece and an official version came out later I’d be pretty upset. Have to think it over a bit longer.

I ended up paying $70 Shipping Fedex for my Del Griffith coat from them. It was the only option they offered. 😞

That's pretty pricey just for the clothes. My custom uses the Sideshow Bespin Han and the extra head from their Hoth Han. It's not perfect but it was also sourced from things I already had. If Bespin Han is your favorite version of the character and you're very selective in your collection, I could see paying $500 for a custom piece but otherwise, my budget version blended into the rest of the collection does fine... Just my opinion though...

Agreed. It is a lot for just a set of clothes. Part of me is thinking of tracking down Sideshow’s Hoth Han. I believe it has the jacket and shirt underneath the parka. Then I would just need to find the pants and boots.
