I am trying to decide if I want the DOFP or Origins look for my custom Wolverine. The knockoff Origins set looks decent but the PopToys DOFP set looks to be nearly Hot Toys quality and the fit is perfect.

Origins is more iconic. It's basically the same thing he wears in all the movies, not counting the leather suit. I prefer a flannel and Origins jacket to the 70s look.

That's the point I'm at now... I got the DOFP sculpt and now I need an outfit. The Pop Toys outfit looks like the tailoring is excellent, what about that Origins set?

I already have the Origins figure, so I bought an extra DOFP sculpt and body from Toy Anxiety, and I have a set of Rogers shoes on the way and a Pop Toys 70s ensemble pre-ordered.

The poptoys outfit definitely looks a lot better and the tailoring looks great too, but I opted for the origins look because, like mudblood stated, it's more iconic. The picture I posted has him in the bootleg origins set. The tailoring is not as great as poptoys. I purchased the dofp body hoping to replace the one I have (from "the wolverine") for the elbow articulation. Maybe that might make the outfit look much better.

Just a quick paintup...not final...this is clay original. Casts will be painted to match. Didn't have the body to match from when I painted it.

Probably unpainted only....you can do it whatever color you want that way.

I've been looking for an MMS220 body on eBay and most don't seem to include a neck peg which means that the total cost of the body, neck peg and claws is around $130. I ended up grabbing a used MMS220 set with everything included for $150 shipped

If you just wanted a TTM-19, there are some really good knockoffs for $30. Straight recast of the original, paint apps are pretty good. In hand, mine is a bit too red from freckles, but it looks the same as the real thing on the shelf. It's hard plastic and not rubber like some of the earlier knockoffs.

It looks quite good for being the bootleg set! Was this listed as the "Best Quality" version on eBay?

you probably want to paint the mask with a little more orange just to match the paint on the suit.
that's one part i didnt like, the orange/dark yellow strips on the arm, they should have gone with the bright yellow like the ones on his body.
