Here's the real McCoy !

And me posing with the chicken legged Lord of the Rings!

The SS/W statue is spot on for legs that would serve a stork better. He was all Mouth and no Trousers :wink1:

:lol

There is no way the PF is better than the statue. It just can't be done. The proportions are wrong, the armour is wrong, the colour...

Being better is subjective of course. The rest of that I'm sorry but this PF is off the charts and your statement is wrong IMO.

FYI, the armor is wrong on the Statue as well based on what was on screen. Just saying. :)

the SSW piece is far from perfect too. Considering the price isn't that bad on the pf, had to go with that one considering it's a foot taller with more detail in the armor and a kick *** base. The only possible downfall is the orange paint. ES of 1500 compared to 10k counts for something too.

I would wonder if they ever sell this one to anyone and what would be transaction price :)

Now that the new maquette line is up and ready for some nice group shots I thought it's time to share some impressions of these and of my newly built man cave with you guys.

It's mainly Lord of the Rings, but not exclusivly. I wanted the presentation to have a bit of a bright and modern museum touch, not sure if I succeeded. Filling of the cabinets is not final (will never be), but anyway I'm quite happy so far. Hope you like it! :wave/
Well this is marvelous collection Petrolos. What kind of vitrines you use ? Are those custom made ?

Hey, you found this still? Thanks for the compliment! :wave Display's changed a lot I have to say in the last year, so here's a little update! (The cabinets are from a specialized company in germany, st-vitrinen.de. Though they're not really custom made, I'd like to think they're made just for me! :lol)
