Sideshow 1:1 Endoarm Custom Display

Here is the complete process of milling my ALUMINUM BASE for my 1:1 SIDESHOW ENDOARM. I was lucky enough to get a SIDESHOW 1:1 ENDOARM at a great price the only problem the base was lost in a move. So I had an incredible craftsman who I have purchased some other things from namely my 1:1 CPU CHIPS from in the UK make me one out of a chunk of ALUMINUM. He also got me the Plexiglass TUBE: As soon as it arrives I will take pics with the ENDOARM in it for you to see. ENJOY

*UPDATE* There are some replies to this thread giving the impression that I made these items. If you read the 1st post it is clear that I had them made for me by an incredible prop builder in the U.K. I just wanted to be clear on that.

UPDATE 3-4-09 BASE and TUBE together

I received the BASE today from RB REPLICAS in the UK!!! 3-2-09 HOLY ^^^^ is it HEAVY: TUBE SHOULD BE HERE ANY DAY: The base is MACHINE out of SOLID ALUMINUM and is just STUNNING. I couldn't be more happy with the result.

UPDATED MODIFIED SHORTENED TUBE: I decided the TUBE itself was a little too tall and had it modified. Notice less space from the top of the fingers to to lid. I like it better now.

Here is a teaser pic. All machined aluminum and real glass tube with O-rings. The finished product will be complete with ARMS and BASE with name plaque. Mine will also have a painted damaged CPU chip like in the movie:

Just to be clear. I did not make these items myself. If you read the 1st post the guy that makes these incredible props is in he U.K. He also made the CPU CHIPS ans display for me.
