I hope this is still coming out. And that it's good.

The fact that they've apparently scraped the separate hairpiece/eyeball insert means it will automatically be 100% better than releases like Snake. Hoping this and Ash turn out really well. Getting rid of that 3 piece system for headsculpts can only help, thankfully.

I have doubts about Ash being a human portrait, but I'm hoping they'll shock us. I sort of regretted passing on Beto's, but pt.2 isn't close enough to the heart for me to have dropped that asking price. But I'd definitely go for this at SS usual retail price range if the accessory spread is good and the figure comes out solid

why wouldn't Ash be a human portrait? there is no other way they would do it

Also the price for the army of darkness dx will be around $240 and you get 2 figures! So us evil dead fans should have no regrets!

QB said what I originally meant, but actually they could include a deadite version that would be an alternative to the human portrait

See, I miss all of this stuff by not being on FB. I heard hat they were doing that Ash sculpt but this is the first time I saw it. Very decent likeness but I think it lacks the spirit of the character. I hate to be faithless but I don't think SS could match even that effort
