Just an FYI, Frodo and Sam are on sale for $32 ea. at amazon.com. Looks like Hastings is clearing them out through Amazon. Anyway, I picked both up for 75 shipped. Just a heads up.:D

Great for anyone bashing together a Merry and Pippin! I have all the hobbitses I need though.

brick and mortar hastings are also marking them down to 32, grabbed my set today!

I was at hasting a few weeks ago and they had sam a frodo for $19.99 and Indy for $49.99.

Guess $19.99 wasnt even cheap enough to get rid of these guys. No wonder Sideshow dumped the line.

:horror Just picked up both Sam & Frodo for around $43 shipped from Hastings. My first 1/6 figures from this line. Hope they are amazing.:banana:banana:banana

Dude, you are screwed. :)

Next you need to get Gandalf. I seriously think it is one of the top five 1/6 figures ever made. It is amazing.

I am working on a custom fellowship piece by piece and it is a sickness. You will have fun.

If you look around, you'll find quite a few SS regular figures for cheaper from several lines. I think people can get there hands on full cases of figures for really cheap and can sell them low and still make a profit.

I think by the time the Hobbits were released, alot of people had given up on the line and sold their other figures. Unfortunately LotR doesn't really have a character that can be reproduced as variants like the SW Stormtrooper can. That seems to keep the SW fans happy until they can come up with another character. Just too long a period of time between figures. You can get away with that in PF because of the price.
