He looks incredible.
Also looks like he has everything necessary from the Original Trilogy: holographic Leia; scomp link; Echo Base sensor; claw arm; Sail Barge drinks dispenser, tray and pop-up lightsaber.
Can't recall what that other arm on the right hand side was used for.
Really is the all-in-one original trilogy R2.
You sure about that one? I didn't see it.
You think plastic. I can't tell. It looks like the lightsaber has some kind of magnet thing going on to help open those compartments and that would mean metal. I tried catching the opening sequences but it's done so fast I really cannot tell how the saber is actually used to open thing. Magnetic, a push and open option, I small wedge or hook thing going on??????? I know it would mean more money but I'm hoping diecast or some kind of hot toys type 40% diecast hybrid. He's a droid dang it, droids should be metal.......
Looks amazing! But scale will mean everything.
Dear Lord baby Jesus, let this be in proper 1/6 scale
The only thing that could kill this is a mini-Artoo.
and metal adds uneeded weight on small spindly arms that do better for posing if they're plastic. there might be SOME metal here and there, but on thw whole, this will be plastic, i'm sure. The arms could be metal, or more likely have a small bit of metal embedded in them. But I think metal is more costly to work with and honestly is not necessary at all for a good quality figure.
It seems they did a great job with the scale of the PF's so hopefully this will translate into the 1/6 figures.
In the Sideshow video at 26 seconds there's a shot that shows all the gadgets, and it looks like the Echo Base sensor.
also, Echo base sensor is DEFINITELY there. it's the the immediate right of the drink dispensor, infront of the glass closest to the center.
Yes, just managed to get a screen capture:
I'm not seeing the echo base sensor scope either. Hope it's hidden in there somewhere.
Just made that my desktop. Thanks!
Ah, ok I see it now. Thanks, kuat! I was trying to pause the damn video and it was impossible to get it in the right spot! I kept getting the motion blur frames!
The last couple years Sideshow has been hitting it out of the park, I'm confident this will be another home run. And until I see different I'm gonna keep telling myself thatgalactiboy said:It seems they did a great job with the scale of the PF's so hopefully this will translate into the 1/6 figures.
