Also looks like he has everything necessary from the Original Trilogy: holographic Leia; scomp link; Echo Base sensor; claw arm; Sail Barge drinks dispenser, tray and pop-up lightsaber.

Can't recall what that other arm on the right hand side was used for.

Really is the all-in-one original trilogy R2.

You sure about that one? I didn't see it.

Also, based on the bare bones Threepio (which I love nonetheless) from Tamashii, who knows if their version would have included even half the accessories this one does.

In the Sideshow video at 26 seconds there's a shot that shows all the gadgets, and it looks like the Echo Base sensor.

I'd maybe get an R5, but wouldn't branch out beyond those two.

And honestly, I have zero idea why they wouldn't capitalize on that. A new dome and a couple of small changes, and voila!

I'd get all the astromech driods, if they're in the yoda price range. and seeing the reuse potential, i don't see why they Can't be.

You think plastic. I can't tell. It looks like the lightsaber has some kind of magnet thing going on to help open those compartments and that would mean metal. I tried catching the opening sequences but it's done so fast I really cannot tell how the saber is actually used to open thing. Magnetic, a push and open option, I small wedge or hook thing going on??????? I know it would mean more money but I'm hoping diecast or some kind of hot toys type 40% diecast hybrid. He's a droid dang it, droids should be metal.......

The arms could be metal, or more likely have a small bit of metal embedded in them. But I think metal is more costly to work with and honestly is not necessary at all for a good quality figure.

Looks amazing! But scale will mean everything.

The only thing that could kill this is a mini-Artoo.

It seems they did a great job with the scale of the PF's so hopefully this will translate into the 1/6 figures.

and metal adds uneeded weight on small spindly arms that do better for posing if they're plastic. there might be SOME metal here and there, but on thw whole, this will be plastic, i'm sure.
