I got the evil droid today and aside from two minor issues, he does look cool. I have a scuff on the head and a sliver of silver paint showing through the door on the front. Deciding if its enough to ask for a replacement. I will say it is way overpriced for no electronics and not even the pop up motivator R5D4 has. Shouldn't be more then $50.00. Sideshows prices are really getting out of control.

I was thinking the same, I love the look, but the reviews point to wait for deep discounts.

Looks sweet. Would look good next to your Tie Pilots and other Astro Droids. Thinking of getting one honestly I don't own any other droids but this seems to be my favorite look of them. Oh and some Death Star Droids would be nice to get too.

Just got mine. Video cracks me up. You have to lock the head on! Put head on. Hold lower ring and twist head. Then it is locked and it and the lower ring will turn together. Geez. Lol.

So decided to get this guy today with $30 off for 40 years Star Wars Anniversary deal.

My thinking was exactly as Joost explained in his video, to use him as a background imperial droid. I'm still working on my collection. But I plan to have a light side and a dark side. Light side already has R2 and C3PO of course, but dark side has no droids. So I think it fair to have a "droid balance" so to say.

He's not exactly what I would have imagined buying on 40th Anniversary of Star Wars, but hell why not. I wasn't going to pay the full $140+shipping on this guy ! But $110 is halfway OK.

Yes true. I have that as well.

So R2+C3PO = Probe Droid+R5J2.......and there was balance in the force.
