i'd be scared if I was SS to do Ledger joker. With all the ppl here who've analyzed him with a fine tooth comb, imagine the scrutiny and complaining...I don't think I could make it through another big Ledger Joker phase

Yeah, I'm not sure I would want to wade into that thread. . .I'm sure Kato and other customizers would make a small fortune creating replacement parts, though.

Deathstroke would be a must-buy for me. He's one of the most bad-ass villains around, and of course, will go great with the other Perez Teen Titan PFs that Sideshow will release

Seems to me that Sideshow is necessarily gonna have to cut-back on other lines in order to focus on a new one. Unless they were hiring a proportionate number of new creative staff, which I don't imagine is gonna happen. Same with Hot Toys taking on so many new lines that some existing lines are likely gonna have product trickling out at a slower rate.

You right and the lines that will probably suffer are the lines that are already suffering/struggling e.g... Buffy line, LOTR (being no new movie has been produced), Indy Jones and that's just to name a few, I see SS putting on the back burner until further notice. To put more of their creative focus on getting the DC license up and running properly. With that being said Sideshow has pumped all kinds of new life in their band with the acquisition of this license and now they have the BIG 4 IMO...Marvel, DC, Star Wars & G.I. Joe these four alone is enough product to produce to sustain this company for a long time. I'm sure they won't totally neglect their other license, but totally understand if we start seeing more from the BIG 4.

See I'm good on this DC license until I see these, and if these are produced I'm going to have to give some serious consideration. Just like the look of these for some reason. Need to stop back reading in this thread it can be a little costly. Just love the way this WW looks in this picture.

Same here.

I think Jim Lee's a very fine (though over-exposed) artist. But when he starts creating new costumes for characters. . .ugh.

Would have to agree with you here. I think that would be the only way to start to get this license off on the right foot. Movie DC characters are even more of a niche audience than original DC characters audience. IMO of course.

I am definitely with you. The only exception I will make is if they would ever do an '89 Batman and a Nicholson Joker in PF.

Don't get me wrong, I would love a Ledger Joker and would entertain a Bale Batman but I am really not a fan of him as Batman but not before they pump out a lot of comic versions.

In the collector's community, I reckon Ledger Joker and Bale Batman would be at least as popular as a comic accurate Superman or Batman. I would guess that Sideshow is gonna mix it up, and I hope that they do because I have an interest in both comic and movie characters.

To me the only DC characters i care about is Batman, his rogues, GL and superman, where as Marvel there are about a hundred that i like, so i dont want SSC to cut back on Marvel or star wars in order to focus its resources on the new DC stuff.

They need to assure fans of the current licenses there will be no effect.

I agree with you. I think I'd like more classic Joker / Batman over the movies verisons but I bet a Heath Joker comes before a classic.

Bringing together two of my favorite woman Selina Kyle and Audrey Hepburn... heaven. Would become center stage of my collection for sure.

What would make this print a great choice in my opinion is that her face isn't covered. DCD already has so many full suited Catwoman statues. What I love about Adam's girls is that they have such beautiful faces and expressions and I would want to see that on a SS Catwoman.

Adam Hughes women have faces? I'd never noticed that before. Guess I may have been distracted by other parts.
This really is great news. I'm sure well learn what the scope of the licensing agreement is soon. It certainly seems that the 1/6th would be comics stuff rather than movies since Hot Toys has been producing those licenses successfully. And SSC and HT already work together on 1/6th projects so coming up with another series of body types shouldn't be terribly difficult.
I wonder what the first item will be that SSC announces? PF, 1/6th, or something else. I think they still have some surprises for Comic Con.
