I just feel like Sideshow had zero excuses to get this wrong. They need to stick with their Mythos like where they can just make stuff up.

Well we've seen three pieces from that line and none have been overly appealing sadly. And the "re-imagined" Big chap statue they made was mind boggling in terms of design and the insane price tag. They need to do better with the license really, other companies are in different leagues now.

I agree. They are falling way behind, and I don't see them catching up. They are far from the SS of 10-15 years ago.
To an extent I get the Big Chap since it was based on Giger's initial sketches, but it's over priced, and those bug eyes don't work well, which is probably why Giger progressed to what was in the film.

I received mine today. I don't know if it was all the bashing this piece has taken, but I was very pleasantly surprised both by the size as well as overall quality. It has great presence and displayed next to the 1/4 bust it just feels like a proper queen - despite the non accurate tail. Overall, I like it quite a bit.
