Sideshow and Toyfair

Will SS have an online event for TF this year? I know you guys don't attend but there was no mention of it in this weeks NL.

Yeah, I was surprised there was nothing about it as well.

Although we'll likely celebrate Toy Fair with news that comes out from the show, we will not be holding any kind of online celebration like we've done in past years.

The introductory LOTR maquette video from last year's event was awesome....this is very disappointing news.

The newsletter will have some new product previews (as it does every week), so although no product sneaks during Toy Fair, you'll still get some new collectible news next week.

Plus, don't forget that we pop in sneaks peeks of upcoming products in our production blog every so often with our production peek videos.

I was just really hoping for another LOTR maquette video....this time around with the conceptual artwork of some of the 'baddies' SS has in store for us. We're seriously lacking in that dept. so far.

But y'all just got a nice peek at some of the upcoming pieces (albeit, no baddies) in our '12 Days of Sideshow' event.

I'd look to Production Peek videos, the newsletter and of course the upcoming SDCC for possible more news on LOTR and more!

That's true, we did get that amazing 12 days 'group shot' and the more recent Gimli prod. video sneak peek. Unfortunately, the awesomeness of what we've seen so far has us wanting to see more......

This is disappointing news. Other than SDCC, I always looked forward to Sideshow sneak peaks during TF. Now we have to wait until SDCC for some kind of product blitz.

I cannot recall in the past 10 years a single Feb. where SS wasn't either physically present at ToyFair, or was holding their own website event....so much for that tradition.
